warm enveloping aura scent
This is a classically composed and understated perfume. The vanilla in the base performs quite warm and natural and is mainly responsible for the fact that I have already bought a new fragrance again.
The top note is, as expected, citrusy-fruity-warm and also a bit fresh-spicy due to the pepper, which, however, is tamed within seconds by the warm-sweet base notes. Then comes the floral heart, where rose and ylang-ylang smell beautiful together, slightly exotic, sweet, and long-lasting. I also recognized patchouli, which sometimes comes through almost too much and sometimes is hardly noticeable; this might depend on different skin temperatures or used skincare products.
It is quite long-lasting but in a body-close way. The many notes never completely disappear; I find that even in the warm base, the components still work together as a whole.
From a marketing perspective, it is presented at Douglas with the main notes of pink pepper, ylang-ylang, and Madagascar vanilla, but I find all notes, except for the green leaves, quite well represented, and rose alongside ylang-ylang is just as strong. The rose resembles that in the Daydream perfume by Alverde.
I feel that you don’t smell explicitly perfumed with Feel the Love, but you just smell good and, yes, somehow loving :)
