My darling carnations are beautifully contoured by Sichuan pepper and bergamot in the opening. The cinnamon is just right, and the roses are fresh, no grandma vibes here. The roses are incredibly persistent and keep you company for 10-12 hours. I sprayed this in the morning, had a long day shopping and walking with my guy, concert, dinner, drinks and this was still going strong. The heart notes never quite disappear; they just gradually make room for the sandalwood and labdanum to enter the scene. I adore this!

This is the gourmand of the series. Annicke 5 is a boozy plum with accents of bergamot and honey. It's a pretty well-crafted delicacy that doesn't weigh you down with too much sweetness, but it has to be applied carefully because it projects strongly, and it can be overwhelming. It's nothing unique or ground-breaking, but it's very pleasant. It reminds me of a Baba Rhum cake.

Surprise from Annicke

In Sweden, according to the website "Nordic Names," there are exactly 7 women named Annicke. A variation of Annike, related to the German "Annika."
I don't know how trustworthy this site is, but I like the idea that each Annicke has chosen one of the 6 fragrances from the "Annicke" line by Eight & Bob. These scents are almost as different as the characters of people. I found the first one okay, the second horrendous, I liked the third - but please not TOO close, the fourth and fifth left no lasting impression, and the sixth was just right for me.
I love the combination of roses with spices, but in this fragrance, I initially expected something different. It is so clean and fresh (thanks to bergamot and a hint of pepper), radiating in warm weather. Subtle, but it doesn't hide.
Not a classic rose scent, but rather an arrangement of roses, carnations, citrus grasses, and a few woods in the background. The cinnamon does not push itself forward.
I wore my sample almost every day last week and couldn't stop smelling myself.

Not a blind buy candidate, unless you are one of the seven Annickes from Sweden (or elsewhere), then you can always place the pretty bottle on your desk :)
