Annicke 1+3
This series is being discontinued, but I still see it online and in stores, so I will review both Annicke 3 and Annicke 1 (not listed on Parfumo) because it might help somebody who's been curious like I was before getting a discovery set. I was impressed with Eight & Bob after sampling their men's collection, but sadly, their offers for women are not as great. I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you love light, fruity, feminine designer florals like Ferragamo's Signorina, Miss Dior or Viktor & Rolf girlie perfumes, then I think it will be worth investing in this Annicke series. Unlike those designer perfumes which disappear quickly, Eight & Bob fragrances seem to project and last and are generally great for an office or everyday situation. They're an easy reach choice.
Annicke 3
This one might just be my favorite from the six Annickes. The red berries in the opening are incredibly realistic, and I almost feel my lips tingling the way they do when I gorge on raspberries. They're earthy and acerbic and probably the best berries I've ever smelled in a perfume: not too sweet and synthetic, but just organic berries sitting in a freshly purchased basket from a farmer's market. The gardenia and jasmine sweeten the berries in a gentle way that will make you smile. And the meringue doesn't sit heavily on that floral sweetness: the dry down is beautiful and very well balanced.

Top Notes: Peony, Ivy, Mandarine
Heart Notes: Cyclamen, Lily of the Valley, Jasmine
Base Notes: Drift Wood, White Musk
Annicke 1 is a delicate peony that is fresh-faced and sappy green. What makes her a little more interesting is a slightly dirty, lived in aspect that seems to lurk right beneath the surface from the opening and throughout its evolution. She's a peony near a lake or pond, and she has something of that 90's atmosphere, a bit like Eden. She's demure and approachable, and a safe choice that won't make nobody mad, although that also means she's a bit generic.
