Stunning beast

Hands down the cleanest patchouli I’ve ever smelled. It’s sweet it’s pure, potent and absolutely gorgeous. Combined with the 01 molecules cedar musky scent it’s s just brilliant. The Firmenich distillation of patchouli Coeur/heart used here cleans it up big time. Very little camphor dirt and dankness on me.
However this fragrance is gonna be a scent shifter per person and your scent and take on this is gonna be different than anyone else’s. So if you like cedar and patchouli you need to at least sample it to see how it mixes with you.
This is a beast performance wise on me also gonna change per person. Can be worn in any season day or night. Also signature worthy if it agrees with your chemistry.

For me and my skin chemistry this is an 11 out of 10

Surprisingly good

I didn't have high hopes for this one. I hated Escentric 01 and could only pick up a faint cedar note from M01, so I wasn't expecting much. As soon as I removed the plastic-wrap from the box, however, I was hit by a clean, medicinal, bracing, almost menthol patchouli. This refreshing green note is front-and-center throughout the considerably long life of the fragrance, and there's no lavender or anything sweet to turn it into a fougere. My nose still can't pick up ISO E super very well, but with three sprays to the neck I was catching pleasant whiffs of patchouli for ten hours. Though it sits close, the longevity is impressive.

As with most of Escentric Molecules, this minimalist creation s extremely versatile and could be worn in any season, though it's probably best in cooler weather. Leans slightly masculine. The price is a bit high, but I'm hooked.

Pleasant patch

This is a nice musky/amber patchouli. I get a pleasant earthiness and a bit of menthol essence, but none of the dank skanky stuff that I love and the general public doesn't. It has moderate projection and lingers nicely. I haven't had anyone comment on it, which is nice because I am surrounded by patchouli haters. I don't know that I'd buy a full bottle, it is nice but I am not excited by it.

A Patchouli Dream

My story about this wonderful fragrance is quite short, but I have to tell you.
Since I am generally a big fan of patchouli and also really like the molecule fragrances, this perfume immediately caught my attention. I then bought a sample here and eagerly awaited its arrival. A few days later, it arrived, and the very next day I sprayed it on to go shopping. Since I am relatively well-known in this town (which is not always an advantage), it didn't take long for the cashier, who is also a friend, to ask me as soon as I entered the store: "What are you wearing today that smells so good?" You absolutely have to tell me.
She was immediately as enthusiastic as I was, and I then had ten minutes to decide whether to reveal the name of the perfume to her...laugh, after all, not everyone should smell like me.
At the checkout, I did tell her, and I went home with the decision to wish for this fragrance for my birthday. In the meantime, I am a proud owner of this amazing scent and must say it can be so simple.
Three fragrance essences that come together to create an incredibly beautiful and warm, slightly earthy scent. One should be a bit of a fan of patchouli, although I must say it doesn't smell as heavy as the patchouli fragrances from the 80s.
The bottle is classically simple, like all Escentric Molecule fragrances.
The longevity and sillage are above average; you can smell it when you enter the room. For me, the scent lasted over 8 hours.
My conclusion: I am happy with this fragrance; it is a must for all patchouli fans.

Light Summer Scent!

I received the discovery set with all 3 new Molecule +1 fragrance samples today. After initially testing the +Iris and not being very impressed, this scent has convinced me much more.

The patchouli here has no musty character, and the cocoa note that is sometimes present in other patchouli fragrances is thankfully absent. The combination with ISO E Super is fitting, resulting in a relatively light patchouli scent that does not evoke any musty cellar associations.

If the sillage and longevity were higher, this would be a candidate for purchase, but unfortunately, it is not. Still, all in all, well done. In summer, it is certainly wearable as a light companion. However, those looking for heavy, crypt-like patchouli will be disappointed!
