A long-lasting freshie

Molecule 01 + Mandarin smells strongly citrusy to me, Molecule DNA is present, but not too present.
The fragrance could easily be a mainstream summer fragrance of a noble department store, there is little Niché here. But why should a citrus lover choose this fragrance?
Because no other freshie lasts as long. The sillage is average, but the longevity, which comes and goes in waves like the other molecules, is above average.
Why still?
Because Molecule + Mandarin is not a 08/15 freshie and let's be honest, there are only so many citrus fragrances out there, here the end of the line is reached very quickly.
+ Mandarin brings variety here and you get a soft, long-lasting citrusy fragrance that neither smells pungent nor too unisex or even masculine and yet is perfect for a summer's day.

Mandarin peels mixed with synthetic

Stumbled upon the Escentric Molecules brand by pure luck when I was browsing what Etiket has to offer in terms of fragrances. I'm not a fan of synthetic notes, but when I saw they had a perfume with mandarin, one of the notes I've come to love and adore, I decided I had to try it nonetheless and see if the synthetic notes would stop me from liking it.

Molecule 01 + Mandarin starts of with a very fresh, citrusy mandarin peel scent that is very refreshing and oh so beautiful. If I could, I'd probably bathe in it. It's a perfect scent for warm weather and a nice start to the day. The scent is positive, uplifting and never gets heavy or cloying. After a while, I did start to smell a slightly sharp sting which is probably the Iso-E-Super. On my skin, the scent never gets woody: it stays citrusy, fresh and fruity. It's overall a very linear and inoffensive scent, great for many occasions.

The problem with this fragrance is that it becomes a skin scent real fast after applying it. For the price, I find this quite sad and, although I know citrus notes are volatile, the price is a bit much. Nonetheless, I think this fragrance could layer very well with other citrus / fresh types of perfumes to enhance the mandarin note and fresh accord. I'm still on the fence whether to get it or not since I have better performing citrus scents in my collection. I recommend sampling it beforehand to see if you find it'll fit your collection!

awaited with excitement and finally tested. i must say that I like molecule 01 very much. accordingly, the expectations were high for the new three molecule 01+ fragrances. I was especially interested in whether they could improve the original scent by the addition or rather not.

to +mandarine: the tangerine smells more like an unripe tangerine, especially the smell of the tangerine peel I perceive. much less sweet than I expected it. with the original molecule 01 there are relatively few parallels. the tangerine dominates the event quite clearly. for me, pure molecule 01 is better - except perhaps at extremely high temperatures, there could actually have this version the nose ahead

to + patchouli: much less earthy/dirty than I expected. the woody note is a little stronger at the beginning but evaporates quite quickly. then a hint of nothing.

to +iris: so I personally find the iris note very strong. it still makes a harmonious impression. starts very feminine for me everything but then with time also for men portable. of the three still most similar to the original fragrance.

overall impression: for me, none of the three new can keep up with the original. the + tangerine evtl something for the summer, but has relatively little to do with the original fragrance. the + iris maybe for the iris fans ... but as I said, to the original comes for me none of the three ran ...
