Kinda Weird to Normal Tea Scent

When I first spray this I get a strong sharp scent, almost like a citrus. But then it turned into a strong earthy smell that reminded me of a barnyard. Like wet dirt and sweaty animal. It took about 10 minutes for that to mellow into a more enjoyable black tea fragrance that feels like it has just a drop of lemon in it. It fades after an hour into the ISO-E scent, which I personally find hard to detect unless I have my nose press hard against the area I sprayed. Which comes across as a very light woody scent. The scent lasted about 3 hours on my skin and I didn't really get any projection from the tea or ISO-E notes. So this would be great for working in a office or somewhere else where strong fragrances are not approved of.

Lemon with tea

I've been looking for a photorealistic black tea fragrance for a while now, and when I saw this fragrance pyramid I knew I had to try it.

In the top note I perceive very strong lemon and a slightly woody note, unfortunately it has nothing of tea at first.
After about 30 minutes on the skin, a really beautiful, elegant black tea fragrance develops, although it is more reminiscent of loose tea than the brewed beverage.
I am really thrilled and was hoping that I had finally found what I was looking for.

But then the bitter disappointment...after just over an hour, the tea note on my skin has completely disappeared, leaving behind a boring skinscent.
Another 1 hour and I can no longer perceive anything at all on my skin.

ISO E Super is supposed to smell different on everyone, well, it doesn't seem to be made for me.

Pleasant tea scent

This is a solid, light and clear black tea fragrance that works well on its own or layered ( I like it with Le Labo Labdanum 18). It does fuzz down into a softer, woodier experience with time. Refreshing and easily wearable. I am not a fan of molecule 01 on its own, but the combination with the tea somehow works well.

A dark smoky cup of black tea with a hint of synthetic

After trying out 01 + Mandarin from Escentric Molecule, I had to try out this one. I love tea scents and I'm constantly on the hunt for great interpretations. At first spray, I'm greeted with this lovely dark tea accord. It's smoky, slightly earthy, but also fresh and spicy. Iso-E-Super lends a synthetic aspect that gives a sharper sting to the overall scent. It's pretty linear and has nice longevity on my skin.

The scent is lovely but I knew I had already smelled this somewhere. This is when it hit me! Dear Polly Eau de Parfum is in the same family (if you take out the Iso-E-Super) and I already have it in my collection. This is the main reason why I won't be getting a bottle, but if you have neither, I suggest testing both of them out.
