Molecule 01 + Black Tea Escentric Molecules 2023

This is the most realistic black tea scent I have ever smelled. It is rich, tannic and has light fruity notes. I perceive black tea as having raisin and hay notes and I get both here, which was really fun. The woody iso e super is really nice here, adding an almost sparkly facet. Unfortunately it fades to nothingness pretty quickly. I am glad I sampled it!

I've been looking for a good, straightforward tea scent and I think this could be the one!

At first spray, it's black tea, freshly brewed and rich with a slightly woodsy finish. I find it very comforting and warm, perfect for cooler days—though the sillage isn't the strongest. It reminds me a bit of a tea-scented lotion in a nice hotel.

It's not too complex in notes or evolution, so the fragrance remained the same on me throughout the wear. It lasted for around seven to eight hours on my skin.

Overall, another simple yet impressive scent from Escentric.

I purchased a 5ml sample of this from Scent Split and finally got to give it a proper wearing. I am not a fan of the opening of this fragrance, or the first 30 to 45 minutes of it. I got a strong, almost industrial rubber smell that radiated very strong off of my skin. I contemplated washing it off of myself while driving in the car in the way to work.

After about an hour it calmed down a lot and I started to actually get the black tea coming out of the fragrance so I decided to leave it. The fragrance got better as the day went on and by the end of the day, was a pleasant and relaxing black tea skin scent.

For a black tea note, I much prefer Cartier Déclaration. I will not be purchasing a full bottle of Molecule 01 + Black Tea because I do not want to experience that opening ever again.

This is straight black tea, zero sugar with a tinge of citrus. It's quite photorelistic, however what makes this different from something like the Armani Yulong is the magneticism this fragrance exudes. There is an outline to the tea scent, but never a full impression. When you finally get a whiff of it the result is intoxicating. I assume the Iso Gamma Super is responsible for this, this fragrance has dimension that a single ingredient fragrance would usually lack. Wearing it is like experiencing the various refractions of tea, its dominant quality is always changing. Sometimes I smell citrus, other times It's clean verging on soapiness like I came right out of a spa. Occasionally a tad astringent, an indiscernible smoke trail. Defenitely try this if you like tea!

After trying out 01 + Mandarin from Escentric Molecule, I had to try out this one. I love tea scents and I'm constantly on the hunt for great interpretations. At first spray, I'm greeted with this lovely dark tea accord. It's smoky, slightly earthy, but also fresh and spicy. Iso-E-Super lends a synthetic aspect that gives a sharper sting to the overall scent. It's pretty linear and has nice longevity on my skin.

The scent is lovely but I knew I had already smelled this somewhere. This is when it hit me! Dear Polly Eau de Parfum is in the same family (if you take out the Iso-E-Super) and I already have it in my collection. This is the main reason why I won't be getting a bottle, but if you have neither, I suggest testing both of them out.
