Flowers that Extend Life?
Good evening everyone! It's me again, bringing you a new comment that will surely make the evening even better! :) And no, the evening will NOT get worse just because I've shown up... tsss... you are never satisfied!!

So, why will the evening be better? Hm, just take a look at the pink bottle of this fragrance, doesn't it look nice with its pink color? Like a vibrant candy that just melts in your mouth and tastes wonderful! Well, the candy, not the bottle. But the bottle does entice you to pick it up, press down the spray head, and unleash its (hopefully lovely) contents!

Unfortunately, I only have a sample of this fragrance, so I can't hold the bottle myself. But at least I was able to try the scent, and well... it's quite nice. My enthusiasm is somewhat limited, but that's only because the fragrance, despite its lovely scent, is just a bit too generic, though it might appeal to others more than it does to me. Now, onto the description:

The Scent:
The scent starts off diluted and floral. Well, it's a light floral fragrance that smells pleasant and, despite many floral scents, has no stuffy notes (or at least not yet). This is exactly the type of scent I often mention that reminds me of the smells at a florist, where all the flowers are in large containers and the water has taken on the scent of the flowers. In the (not so strong) scent cloud, it's a bit difficult to quickly identify individual flowers. However, if you sniff more concentratedly at the sprayed area, you can recognize a few. There are the freesias, which would have smelled a bit stuffy if they had been stronger. Violets can be identified by their sweet, powdery scent, but they also appear slightly diluted, and their projection is quite weak, like that of the freesias. Mandarins (okay, those aren't flowers... :D) give off a light, citrus-fresh scent. Everything else is either too mixed or too weak to be really recognized, at least by me.
Basically, the scent remains like this for a while until the (for me) stuffy floral notes like the freesias become a bit stronger. However, the scent is not bad even then (in case you, like me, usually don't like stuffy scents) because it still offers many other lovely fragrance notes. The sweet notes, however, become weaker despite notes like amber, jasmine, or violet, so the scent mostly remains floral and slightly watery, becoming a bit woodier in the later base. All in all, it's actually a good scent, but it's not particularly spectacular.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is not the best right from the start, but you can still make out a small scent cloud that smells nice and can be smelled up close. However, this cloud soon becomes smaller and smaller... so that a little later you would need to get even closer.
The longevity is mediocre, as the scent is already quite weak after four hours, and I could hardly smell anything after about five to six hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and quite pink. With its bright pink color, it certainly stands out from most other bottles and, in my opinion, looks quite nice. There is no label; the name of the fragrance is printed directly on the bottle in golden letters. Also in gold is the neck of the bottle, including the spray head. It is topped off with a cuboid and transparent cap. Simple, but quite nice. The pink color really makes a statement.

So... first the bad news! Finding the fragrance will be difficult, as it was limited and it's almost ten years since it was released, well, actually more like eight years. The good news, however, is that despite its nice scent, the perfume hasn't turned out to be anything special, as it mostly smells like a well-made generic floral fragrance, which means you aren't really missing anything important if you can't try this scent. Well, except maybe for a bright pink bottle!

Otherwise, the scent would have been something for summer, something casual that you could spray during the day in your free time (but also at work) without ever going wrong, a go-to (on warm days), so to speak, that, as mentioned, smells nice, even if it doesn't stand out from the crowd of floral scents.

So, the fragrance is called Elixir. An elixir is a brew whose contents usually consist of various plant extracts (which makes the name of the fragrance quite well chosen!) and is supposed to be beneficial for healing or even have life-extending effects. But I doubt that the scent extends life!
Yes... I knew the meaning of elixirs even before I knew what plants were,... and do you know why? Of course,... because I grew up with video games, and as it goes with role-playing games, there were many elixirs to ensure you always had life energy while fighting against evil bosses like perfume witches or something... he he, okay, there weren't any perfume witches,... but wouldn't that be a great concept, right? :DD

Well, that's it for today, and I wish you all a lovely evening.

Candy in Pink Crinkly Paper
Wild Elixir is a rather unknown fragrance from Estee Lauder.

The scent starts fresh with freesia and mandarin, and soon I can smell gardenia, water lily, and jasmine. The woods then gently blend in to round off the fragrance beautifully.

I don't notice anything "wild" about the Elixir. In my opinion, the name is poorly chosen.

Unimpressed by the name and not deterred by the bright pink bottle, I have discovered a very fine, feminine fragrance with Wild Elixir.

We used to call Tagetes simply stink flowers. Here it fits well and doesn't smell bad.

Estee Lauder-Jewel - floral-woody-elegant, Mandarin awakens and adds a zesty-sexy finish, a casual all-rounder, packaging too pink - deceiving.

In addition to floral-powdery notes, green aromas and woods are especially noticeable. Together with the mandarin, it feels fresh and laid-back.

Floral-fresh-green and woody, lily of the valley dominates on my skin.
Could also be a scent from the Aerin collection (Lilac Path).
