its soul isn't clear, but it's there
I can't smell the beeswak or the plaster, I also can't imagine what they would smell like. But there is a bloodiness? feralness? to this that give it more spark than its notes suggest. It is a scent that melts into the skin and plays with the very warm and oily smells of the human body.
I think spices always do this well, in general. It's supposed to be an atmospheric and artsy chai, and it is. But I would never be able to pick out what makes it so. What does mist smell like?What does a theoretical demon smell like? Not sure. But this smells like someone who lives a very full life and comes home to the warmness of a loved one making them a cup of chai. There's traces of other things, but who can tell or care what they might be when wrapped in the loving embrace of warm spiced tea?
