Finally cancelling my Ffern subscription
I'm leaving this review on Winter 26, but this really applies to Ffern as a whole. The fragrances are just not for me. There is an earthy DNA that is shared across all their releases, and truthfully, I only smell the slightest differences between seasons. I tried all four seasons from 25-26 and I returned all of them.
Winter 26 does not smell like a lighthouse on the sea. It has a green, herbal, earthy vibe, the same as every other release. They all feel more like home fragrances than something I would want to wear.
The business model of the company seems ultimately silly to me. The entire "ledger" system is just marketing to make you feel like you're missing out if you don't sign up. They invest so much in visually beautiful ad videos to (once again) make you feel like you're missing out. But why would you even want to fall in love with a fragrance that will never be released again?
They need to cut it out with the weird marketing and subscription model. Just make a good fragrance and let us buy it without signing up for a subscription before even smelling it!
