Flashback to the 80s
As a teenager in the 1980s, you probably didn't feel much different from the kids today. Inside everything was "Lui" and on good days "L'eau d'Issey" (emotional, the scents came later). The music on the radio was stupid and German, the fashion without words (Schnauzer and Vokuhila, so please!), food was dangerous because of Chernobyl, later ministers were still fighting with policemen and Berlin was an island. There were actually still standing blues parties in the homes of the parents of the classmates, that was exciting, because it was never clear whether one could arrange a dance with her. With all the hormonal chainsaw massacre, it was important to at least stay cool water on the outside, just like the well-trained tanned guy in the commercial at the time. If you also had the courage to ask the girl during the dance what she smelled like (she smelled incredibly good), then of course she also had the serenity to tell you that the soap was because she had bathed. What else do you want to answer?
"JF" is a flashback there. Maybe an image of the London teenager of the late '90s. When I sprayed that stuff on myself this morning, it all came back in pictures and feelings. Aah, it's nice to be able to look at this from a distance now. Right at the beginning, the green and citric notes blend into the blue, almost aquatic, with the typical English mix tour of soapy green citrus fruits with moss and woods soon becoming perceptible. This distinguishes "JF" from "Cool Water" in that it also has this Blenheim character without being very similar to it. The only development of this fragrance then also goes in the direction of the classic British colognes, the soapy freshness settles in the moss at the feet of the fresh woods. The whole thing lasts about five to seven hours, with the Sillage initially arm-long and later closer to the ground.
So if you're looking for flashbacks into the late 80s or just a more British version of the Davidoff classic, this is the place for you. Personally, I've smelled that enough times.
