Tender is the night
By reading the ingredients here I was puzzled at the first moment. As usually I tested "Nuit Câline" blind. Nor did I have an idea which kind of perfume I was applying neither did I take a look into the web-site of Galimard. I just was smelling a caressing gourmand. Sweet, pleasently like fruit-liqueur, spiced by maybe cinnamon or star aniseed, resinous and balsamic, a little bit woody. Later on "Nuit Câline" was going to chance into a slighly metallic direction. Apart of that a decent creaminess was enriching "Nuit Câline". The sillage is calming and tender, out of this with a constantly staying concentration over several hours. Then "Nuit Câline" was changing to a more tangy and friuty character.
Because of "câline" means: tender, caressing. cheerfull etc. I am judging the name of the perfume due to the frangrance. "Nuit Câline" is similar to L'Erbolario's "Dolcelisir".
Ignoring the list of ingredients here and assuming that this is a matter of the perfumers secrets "Nuit Câline" is a pleasantly warm scent with a slightly masculin tendency.
