Had hoped for more
Through the Parfumosouk I have a 10 ml. Version of the fragrance from a very dear souk partner.
I had read all the reviews and statements thoroughly beforehand and was sure: This is THE perfect gourmand fragrance!
Despite the very contradictory opinions, I dared to make a blind purchase and yesterday I held the 10 ml. Bottling in my hands yesterday.
I tore open the envelope, took out the bottle and sprayed it on my wrist. I was immediately hit by a sweet, penetrating cloud of fragrance and I was reminded of Althair by PdM, which I also find very off-putting. "oh no", I thought to myself and couldn't hide my disappointment.
Over the next few seconds, the scent turned into a marzipan-like something. It became sweeter and stickier. You could almost say it had a syrupy quality to it. Phew, that was too much for my sense of smell. It just smelled like sweet artificial vanilla. No trace of caramel. Maybe it's the honey that makes the scent a tiny bit tart.
The musk with its sweetish veil harmonizes perfectly with the lush, synthetically sweet vanilla, but unfortunately it is precisely this concentrated sweetness that ultimately makes the fragrance simply unbearable (for me personally). Although I love sweet fragrances and am definitely a gourmand fragrance girl, Bianco Latte unfortunately kills me.
In one statement I read the phrase "cheap vanilla scented candle vibes" and unfortunately I have to say that it does indeed go in that direction.
As for the longevity, I can only say: strong performance! I took a shower and the fragrance was still on my wrist, as if I had just sprayed it on.
Sillage is definitely strong too and still very noticeable to anyone who enters the room after you.
I am of course delighted when someone has found their perfume in Bianco Latte, but unfortunately you and I are not going to be friends.
I would advise against a blind purchase, but if you have the opportunity to test the fragrance somewhere, I can only recommend it to everyone.
