La Dolce Vita of the Amore Caffé

I came across Mancera Amore Caffé through a YouTube video about the best Gourmands perfumes and immediately started looking for information about this little treasure The fragrance pyramid appealed to me enormously and the reviews and statements also supported a blind purchase. Since you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket for Mancera perfumes, I decided to look for the fragrance in the Parfumo Souk and was lucky. A travel-size flacon was actually offered for a very good price and I contacted the nice gentleman to arrange the purchase (at this point I would like to thank him again for the quick and unproblematic Souk!)

When it finally arrived I ran up the stairs put my jacket and bag down and sprayed the scent on my wrist and smelled it like there was no tomorrow.
I was overwhelmed. I had been looking for just such a beautiful aromatic sweet fragrance. In the opening, I perceived a very sweet and mature coffee note (I don't know if coffee can mature, but there's no other way to put it :D ). It was as if someone had added a dash of Amaretto liqueur to the coffee. I immediately associated my favorite dessert, tiramisu, with the smell. It is important to emphasize that the scent is by no means sour or pungent. It's actually sweet with a hint of "marzipan/nutty". Great, I thought to myself, I could hardly wait to see how the fragrance would continue to develop.
As the fragrance settled, the beautiful and warm vanilla came through more and more and combined with the coffee and amaretto to create a wonderful trio. The result was a vanilla coffee with a shot, so to speak. I don't really notice anything of the speculoos at all, as the scent is not spicy at all (in my opinion). However, the brown sugar gives it a pleasantly aromatic side. The ambergris gives the perfume a slightly earthy/woody note, but very carefully.
In the drydown, a great warm, sweet syrupy fragrance has finally developed in which the vanilla and coffee notes are pretty much best friends.

Over the course of the day, it is noticeable that it is not just the vanilla that comes through, but that the coffee and amaretto are also present, although the vanilla remains the main protagonist.

I rate the longevity as good to very good, the fragrance stays on the skin even hours later, but I noticed that the sillage starts to weaken after a few hours. The durability is actually stronger here.

As this is a warm, sweet fragrance, I think it is perfect for the colder months of the year. I can't imagine wearing it on a man, I find it too feminine for that.

All in all, we have a really beautiful, sophisticated and super gourmand fragrance here, which impresses with its aromatic sweetness with a special amaretto note. Despite its sweetness, it is by no means sticky or squeaky.

For all gourmand lovers, this fragrance is definitely worth a test!
