Had hoped for more
Through the Parfumosouk I have a 10 ml. Version of the fragrance from a very dear souk partner.

I had read all the reviews and statements thoroughly beforehand and was sure: This is THE perfect gourmand fragrance!
Despite the very contradictory opinions, I dared to make a blind purchase and yesterday I held the 10 ml. Bottling in my hands yesterday.

I tore open the envelope, took out the bottle and sprayed it on my wrist. I was immediately hit by a sweet, penetrating cloud of fragrance and I was reminded of Althair by PdM, which I also find very off-putting. "oh no", I thought to myself and couldn't hide my disappointment.
Over the next few seconds, the scent turned into a marzipan-like something. It became sweeter and stickier. You could almost say it had a syrupy quality to it. Phew, that was too much for my sense of smell. It just smelled like sweet artificial vanilla. No trace of caramel. Maybe it's the honey that makes the scent a tiny bit tart.
The musk with its sweetish veil harmonizes perfectly with the lush, synthetically sweet vanilla, but unfortunately it is precisely this concentrated sweetness that ultimately makes the fragrance simply unbearable (for me personally). Although I love sweet fragrances and am definitely a gourmand fragrance girl, Bianco Latte unfortunately kills me.
In one statement I read the phrase "cheap vanilla scented candle vibes" and unfortunately I have to say that it does indeed go in that direction.

As for the longevity, I can only say: strong performance! I took a shower and the fragrance was still on my wrist, as if I had just sprayed it on.
Sillage is definitely strong too and still very noticeable to anyone who enters the room after you.

I am of course delighted when someone has found their perfume in Bianco Latte, but unfortunately you and I are not going to be friends.

I would advise against a blind purchase, but if you have the opportunity to test the fragrance somewhere, I can only recommend it to everyone.

So the search for the perfect gourmand fragrance continues!

La Dolce Vita of the Amore Caffé
I came across Mancera Amore Caffé through a YouTube video about the best Gourmands perfumes and immediately started looking for information about this little treasure
The fragrance pyramid appealed to me enormously and the reviews and statements also supported a blind purchase. Since you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket for Mancera perfumes, I decided to look for the fragrance in the Parfumo Souk and was lucky. A travel-size flacon was actually offered for a very good price and I contacted the nice gentleman to arrange the purchase (at this point I would like to thank him again for the quick and unproblematic Souk!)

When it finally arrived I ran up the stairs put my jacket and bag down and sprayed the scent on my wrist and smelled it like there was no tomorrow.
I was overwhelmed. I had been looking for just such a beautiful aromatic sweet fragrance. In the opening, I perceived a very sweet and mature coffee note (I don't know if coffee can mature, but there's no other way to put it :D ). It was as if someone had added a dash of Amaretto liqueur to the coffee. I immediately associated my favorite dessert, tiramisu, with the smell. It is important to emphasize that the scent is by no means sour or pungent. It's actually sweet with a hint of "marzipan/nutty". Great, I thought to myself, I could hardly wait to see how the fragrance would continue to develop.
As the fragrance settled, the beautiful and warm vanilla came through more and more and combined with the coffee and amaretto to create a wonderful trio. The result was a vanilla coffee with a shot, so to speak. I don't really notice anything of the speculoos at all, as the scent is not spicy at all (in my opinion). However, the brown sugar gives it a pleasantly aromatic side. The ambergris gives the perfume a slightly earthy/woody note, but very carefully.
In the drydown, a great warm, sweet syrupy fragrance has finally developed in which the vanilla and coffee notes are pretty much best friends.

Over the course of the day, it is noticeable that it is not just the vanilla that comes through, but that the coffee and amaretto are also present, although the vanilla remains the main protagonist.

I rate the longevity as good to very good, the fragrance stays on the skin even hours later, but I noticed that the sillage starts to weaken after a few hours. The durability is actually stronger here.

As this is a warm, sweet fragrance, I think it is perfect for the colder months of the year. I can't imagine wearing it on a man, I find it too feminine for that.

All in all, we have a really beautiful, sophisticated and super gourmand fragrance here, which impresses with its aromatic sweetness with a special amaretto note. Despite its sweetness, it is by no means sticky or squeaky.

For all gourmand lovers, this fragrance is definitely worth a test!

Scent where are you?
I saw the fragrance in a perfumery last weekend and had to spray it on immediately. I was really excited and couldn't imagine what to expect, especially as Kylie Jenner is more associated with cosmetics than perfume. Who doesn't know the Kylie Lipstick Kits, which had their big hype around 2016 and it felt like everyone had them or wanted them.

Back to the fragrance:

I sprayed it on a test strip first because I didn't know if I would like it and I didn't feel like smelling it all the time. The first spritz came *drum roll* and I smelled very little. Like now I thought to myself, what is this and smelled the test strip repeatedly. I could now detect a fresh breeze of blood orange. Fresh, citrusy and tangy, almost slightly herbal. I decided to spray it on my wrist after all. My curiosity was piqued.
No sooner said than done. I noticed it better and more strongly on my skin. The first scent that was also very easy to smell here was the tangy blood orange. As soon as it dried, the fragrance took a slightly sweet turn, which is probably due to the star jasmine.
But again, I have to say the sweetness doesn't last long. Amber, vanilla and cedarwood "warm up" the fragrance. It becomes slightly earthier and softer with a hint of spice. But all very, very subtle.

The dry down had - how should I define this? - a floral, slightly fresh and somewhat warm fragrance that was almost imperceptible to me. I could hardly smell the individual components. I'd like to say I hadn't smelled such a gentle fragrance for a long time.

Shelf life is subterranean. After less than half an hour, the fragrance was as good as gone. You could only smell it close to the skin, and only if I pressed my wrist a little harder against my nose. Sillage was zero, niente, nada. At first I thought this was an EdT, but it's actually an EdP.

Conclusion on this fragrance:
It's a lovely soft floral scent, not exciting or even decadent, you could say feminine, subtle and grown up. However, the longevity is not there and that is a shame.
I think the bottle is really beautiful, exciting and something different, but unfortunately I found the fragrance to be a bit lacking. Perhaps I would have liked it better with better durability and more presence.

the seductive liqueur cherry
Of all the Black Opium perfumes, this is my absolute favorite flanker and for me personally a beautiful fragrance. I was able to get to know the fragrance by receiving a sample and I am thrilled, so I will definitely buy the fragrance.

The cherry in the top note is very nicely fruity/sweet, in my opinion it could be a tick stronger. It smells like a high-quality cherry liqueur, but by no means alcoholic or even sour, but sweet/gourmand. The smoky black tea in the base note grounds the fragrance somewhat and gives it a nice deep note. The jasmine gives off its floral note and lends the fragrance a slightly herbal quality. In the drydown, thanks to the vanilla and coffee, the perfume transforms into a sweetly tart, warm/soft fragrance that goes in a creamy-sweet direction. The interplay between the bourbon vanilla in the base note and the orange blossom in the heart note is really successful and makes the fragrance very seductive. Despite the many sweet components, the coffee evens out the fragrance. Subtle roasted aromas emerge.

Sillage is definitely there, the perceptibility of the fragrance is there, albeit soft. Longevity could be a little better in my opinion as this is an EdP.

The fragrance does not cause headaches for fragrance-sensitive people as it smells very high-quality despite its sweet/fruity characteristics. It is there and you notice it, but in a very pleasant way.

In direct comparison to its older sister, the original B.O., the Over Red is gentler, warmer and softer and, in my opinion, more suitable for the colder fall/winter days.

A really all-round successful perfume with a beautiful bottle.

As soft as silk
It was only a few days ago that I smelled the fragrance for the first time. Attracted by the beautiful design of the bottle with the lovely, elegant golden neck that perfectly matches the white glass, I reached for the shelf and sprayed it on my wrist.
I had previously looked at the fragrance pyramid and also read a few reviews about the perfume and was actually sure that I would like the fragrance.
So I sprayed it on and noticed that the spray that came out was not transparent but milky/white. At first I was a little surprised and thought for a moment that it was a body lotion, but I immediately discarded the idea as it was definitely a perfume and how is cream supposed to come out of a spray head?

My first thought was wow this is so delicate, so subtle and simply beautiful. The jasmine was the first thing I noticed. Sweet, floral, light and a little honey-like. The magnolia brought a breath of fresh air into play. Still very floral, but now it had something of freshly washed laundry. However, this is a very delicate freshness. A hint, but one that made a difference. The light freshness made the fragrance seem a little more "alive". The combination created a great spring fragrance. (This is how I imagine a flower meadow). The lovely neroli as the third floral component rounded off the fragrance with its citrusy, delicate note. Soft, sweet and floral with a slightly powdery note, it dries down.

In the dry down, the fragrance doesn't change much in my opinion. It remains very floral, lovely/sweet, but it has taken on a creamy, clean note that is still very floral, as I said.
The fragrance is very delicate, feminine and calm. You smell well-groomed/elegant. I personally imagine the fragrance to be stunning on a bride.

Longevity was unfortunately below average. After less than an hour, the fragrance was barely there. You only noticed it very slightly and only when you got close to it. Sillage is very weak.

Although the fragrance sounded promising, I was not tempted to buy it. It didn't knock my socks off. It lacked that certain something.
There's no question that this is a beautiful, high-quality feminine fragrance that is the perfect everyday companion - it would look great in spring and summer - but unfortunately it lacked a certain depth.

It's definitely worth a sniff, especially to see the direct comparison to the traditional J'adore Dior.
