Awesome scent

Awesome scent. Perfect for a night-out or a dinner. I love it. It can definitely be recommended.

Only flaw, you can not see how much is left in the bottle. The price is, I would say, pretty average. Although it is a really great fragrance, I wouldn't recommend wearing it daily.

Perfect scent for a man to wear at a date.

OK, I see the Sauvage Elixir comparisons…

… but NO, it is not in the same ballpark. To quote the great Jules Winnfield: “ain't the same ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same f**in' sport.”

it’s BARELY a SHADOW of SE.

On PAPER, it seems much more similar, but on skin? Right off the bat you feel it twisting away from any hints of similarity. You get a much fruitier opening, and the licorice/leathery feel that makes you think it might be similar on paper becomes much more porous, and spreads too thin to even come close.

Is it bad? No. But if you’re looking for a substitute or clone, this isn’t it.

There is a HINT of a similarity. A very tiny whisper. You WILL recognize that it is indeed SE that it is trying to shine as. But no, it is its own animal.

A much sweeter, much softer, fruity feeling one. It still has a “darkness” to it. A licorice note makes itself present throughout, and a hint of smokiness comes out with the leather.

Performance wise, it’s not even a close comparison. This one isn’t bad by any means, but SE is a rabid, angry Sasquatch compared to it. The projection radius is barely 2-3ft, and the sillage trail is MUCH lighter. It will sit and radiate for a while, but don’t expect it to be anywhere near what SE does. Longevity is great, however, but it is a long lasting SKIN scent that goes 12+ hours easily.

If you look at it as its own entity, it’s a dark, fruity smokey leathery feeling licorice scent that lasts a good bit. Worthy of the $$? I wouldn’t buy it again, and I think the edt is better. If you are looking for an SE substitute, this is NOT it.

A nice scent. I don’t regret trying it. Not a room filler by any means, and it isn’t what it’s being hyped up to be. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say this; if SE is your motivation, buy SE (there’s a 100ml now). If you want something slightly different then the trending frags, and don’t mind spending some coin, give it a shot.

First interesting, then conventional.

When I took the fragrance off the shelf to test it, I didn't expect much. A simple but chic bottle with a magnetic closure made a good first impression.

The fragrance itself has a lot to offer at the beginning. Some fruit and resin, but above all, the anise stands out. As someone who doesn't like the smell of anise, I found it relatively pleasant. Without looking at the notes, I couldn't tell whether it was liquorice, aniseed or mountain herbs, but after looking at Parfumo, I felt vindicated. Mixed with other notes, I found it unusual but quite pleasant.

Over time, the fragrance develops more and more into a classic drugstore scent. The interesting opening becomes generic, unremarkable, and somewhat boring. It's a shame, as it had the potential to be something more daring, but who knows if that's always desirable.

Too Strong!!!

Headache! Exhausting! Just too much.
I smelled it for the first time in a Douglas store, and I actually liked it quite a bit. Then I bought it and have to admit, that was one of my biggest mistakes! 2 sprays on my neck already cause a headache. The dominant licorice is also not my thing, and in my opinion, there are simply too many different notes that do not come together as one.

Gisada for first time

I tried it for the first time after discussing and thinking about it with a friend…. it is incredible and a very beautiful scent that lasts long on the skin. At the same time, it’s not too expensive and the bottle is pretty.. to be honest, I would say that you can find and buy almost all fragrances here on Parfumo without a complex process .. I would gladly buy it again and I can only recommend it.

Much friendlier version of Sauvage Elixir. The licorice note is not as intrusive. It is better blended and more wearable to my nose.

HQ sweet and fruity edition of Sauvage. Citrus notes are prominent. Musk/amber freshness underpins it all. Juvenile, but not in a bad way.
