A discovery. What smells so bewitching?
Compared to many others here I find this fragrance so beautiful and so interesting and unique.

The fragrance is so beautiful and so different from all other fragrances that I have tested and had so far and that says something. A total surprise. Special, beguiling and super pleasant.

The fragrance starts very floral but what a flower. Beguiling and so interesting. I didn't know this one and would have to read up. It must be the Australian Boronia. It knocks me out. I've been sniffing my arm all evening. My husband, who rarely comments on my fragrances, said that I smelled incredibly good.

The scent I can describe very difficult because that is with nothing to compare what I'm now in my very long perfume journey have smelled. Sweet, lovely with a bit of lipstick note but at the same time a bit powdery with a hint of green from the vetiver..

The scent has pretty good longevity though the isn't a performance bomb. The sillage is beautifully moderate. Who prefers a strong sillage, must overspray a bit or add after a few hours..Before the scent retreats completely after 6-7 hours, sandalwood and vetiver becomes more apparent. The currants smell I not at all... In the end, the fragrance is very unisex for me but only at the end, otherwise I would call the fragrance a woman's fragrance, although everyone can of course wear what pleases..

The fragrance is not sexy but super elegant and just uniquely feminine.... You have to be able to wear the fragrance in my opinion. The is absolutely not old-fashioned but to a 20 year old I do not see the fragrance, but more to an elegant woman over 30....

In search of the rare flower....
... through the jungles of Australia. Supposedly armed with camouflage clothing and appropriate equipment. Suddenly, on my search for the plant of desire, something hits me with full force in the face. It takes me a few minutes to regain my bearings, my head still aching. For God's sake, what was that? Nothing in sight. A glance next to me reveals: the shrub with the pink/pink little flowers is still wiggling. Is that how he blew me away? The Tasmanian Boronia!

Yeah, that's my first impression. A real floral whopper. Extremely. Very sad. Am of course again went in with expectations: something younger is the fragrance, I thought, the Blümelein dance around the Boronia. No, there's no dancing. There's just something there and it doesn't go away for a long time. I also find it a little old-fashioned - omega-like. I can still smell the sandalwood and the jasmine. But that's just my sensation.
The color of the Juice in the bottle also fits the fragrance very well. Dark pink...present

In the course of the fragrance, it calms down. Not a run-of-the-mill fragrance and it lasts and radiates. Didn't think it was that interesting, even in the progression. I think you either like him or just not. Can not imagine a 'goes so'.

Lilac, but make it tropical and sultry
I'm not familiar with the boronia flower, so I can't judge if this is realistic interpretation of it. I can say that it's a heady, sultry, unique floral though.

In the opening it feels like a mix of exotic flowers in the mid-day sun, dusty pollen floating in the air. The coconut in this is dry and almost grainy and bready, this is not your typical creamy and tropical coconut. A bit like unsweetened coconut flakes.
For some reason I also smell something similar to lilacs in this. Does boronia smell like lilacs?
After the scent has calmed down, it turns more powdery, and all the fruity and floral notes come out. Ylang-ylang, cassis and iris are all very noticeable in the heart and the drydown, and a bit of sandalwood, too. At this point the scent is so sweet and powdery that it reminds me of candy necklaces, but on a musky, chic and polished base. Am I the only one who gets the tiniest hint of NR For Her musk from this?

I think this needs some time to settle and come together as one. The heady florals and dry coconut in the opening feel separated to my nose. But when everything blends together in the drydown, this becomes a beautiful floral musk fragrance.
In my opinion it doesn't really smell like Velvet Orchid (like some people around the web say). That one is much warmer, but I can see where people are coming from, especially in the later phases of both scents.

Gorgeous floral
I honestly can't tell if I'm truly in love or if this is another example of successful marketing. If someone had told me this perfume was made from magnolia blossoms, I might have written it off as just another "generic powdery floral."

But this is "Southern Bloom" which is made from a rare flower that only blooms for a very short time on one tiny island on the other side of the world. I will probably never see this flower in my life. I've also come to understand that this rare flower's oil is the most expensive in the world.

Maybe it's that story that makes this perfume seem so opulent and luxurious. Or maybe it really is just a well balanced, beautiful floral smell. Either way, it makes me feel feminine, sophisticated and pampered when I wear it. It makes me feel like royalty and I find myself carrying myself as such when I wear it. Perhaps that feeling alone makes it worthy of a full bottle buy.

My only complaint is that my nose goes blind to the smell very quickly. I think others around me can still smell it, I just wish I could continue enjoying the first spray a little bit longer myself.

Superb flowery fragrance
Southern Bloom is for me, overall, and as i have writen un the title, a superb flowery fragrance. The scent here is very natural and really...just great. The flowers shine un this perfume. What se find here the most is Boronia. I havent seen before this flower and i dont know how It smells but i think It must be something similar to an orchid since i get something like this un the mix. Them a very rich iris, more in the líne of Dior homme than un the líne of iris des champs, a very powdery iris with the make Up vibe and not a fresh and vright iris. At the same time the Jasmine gives some dirty character to the perfume what is really cool. What is weird is that I feel something like honey here but probably would be the ylang ylang with the coconut and the blackberries.
The opening is amazing, very dense and intense and attending to that It could be for sure one of my favourite perfumes. But thwn, after half an hours more or less, It becomes much more subtle and soft and adquiring a very short distances projection. The longevity is good but not also a beast. Therefore I find It a perfume more for warm days and probably better for daytime. I think It is totally unisex but men Who are afraid of flowers...please avoid It! :)

Balanced and less powdery than Velvet Splendor and White Sandalwood. Fairly generic and soapy.

A pollinic bloom of flowers mixed with a fruity burst of blackcurrant berries. Very dry, slightly creamy, with a light woody backbone.

Great flowery fragrance where the Boronia is the Queen. Her court is formed by iris, Jasmine and ylang with the sweet touch of coconut
