Great Blue Fragrance
Immediately upon applying Mikul, the first scent that came to my mind was Chanel Bleu. Mikul is mainly a blue fragrance. I did a direct compare with Bleu EdP on my wrist. They are not identical. It seemed Bleu EdP was a bit more woody after dry down than Mikul. I next compared it to Missoni Wave which I sprayed on my other wrist. The opening was quite different but as Wave dried down, they became more alike. As a difference though, Wave has a mild aquatic accord which Mikul lacks. I have a few more fresh blues but didn't bother comparing them (e.g. the several Tommy Bahama's that I have). I think you get the idea. Mikul had better longevity than Bleu or Wave. I got a good 8 to 9 hours out of it. However, like those two, projection is moderate.
Mikul is a great blue fresh scent with very good longevity. It would be pretty versatile for any occasion, day or night and any time of the year. I'm guessing it would really shine in summer.
UPDATE (1/18/2025): I've completed testing all of the Guy Fox fragrances available in their two sample sets. One set is for the "Founder's Reserve" Collection while the other contains all their standard releases. Here's my ranking of all of them, with a few notes:
First group, ranked in order of my preference. These are the top Guy Fox fumes in my book - full bottle worthy, with Nightcap being the best:
1. Nightcap
2. Fairway
3. Vince
4. Nelson
Second group, no rank or order, just grouped together. Nice scents. I like them, but not enough to buy a FB:
Aspen
Primo
Mikul
Jefe
Preston
Third group, no rank or order, just grouped together. OK, somewhat generic. Mediocre performance for some:
Palmer
Tyler
Marra
JP
Fourth group. Just plain awful. Was almost a scrubber for me:
Riviera
