Figgy Floral Mess
Riviera opens with a very strong fig note. I'm sorta neutral on that - neither liking nor disliking it. As it dries down however, the floral notes come into play while the fig note remains strong. This combination is just plain awful; was very tempted to scrub it. It was only after about 6 hours it became more tolerable, retaining some of the fig but dropping the florals with the base notes smoothing it out. Leans feminine IMO, but I'll be generous and call it unisex. To be clear though, I dislike the scent of Riviera and wouldn't wear it myself and wouldn't want it on my woman either.
Longevity was quite good while projection was high moderate.
UPDATE (1/18/2025): I've completed testing all of the Guy Fox fragrances available in their two sample sets. One set is for the "Founder's Reserve" Collection while the other contains all their standard releases. Here's my ranking of all of them, with a few notes:
First group, ranked in order of my preference. These are the top Guy Fox fumes in my book - full bottle worthy, with Nightcap being the best:
1. Nightcap
2. Fairway
3. Vince
4. Nelson
Second group, no rank or order, just grouped together. Nice scents. I like them, but not enough to buy a FB:

Third group, no rank or order, just grouped together. OK, somewhat generic. Mediocre performance for some:
