Catkin and resin
I really appreciate the unpredictability of Hilde Soliani creations. This one is again a true fragrance experience for me.
The scent is so heavy, that it stays near to the skin, but it is not a problem, since resinous fragrances are easy to overdose. It is not only resinous, but also green with a touch of wet brown soil.
A picture of a rural coockshack came in my mind, the table with wax-cloth, smell of old lunches ingrained to the walls + walnut + birch.
When the fragrance is settled down on the skin, the walnut and somehow the catkin of the poplar embrace me.
This heavy, old, earthy fragrance fits perfectly for autumn, for farewells, for thinking alone while walking in the nature.
