Great summer retreat for little money
My great preference for summery, carefree citrus fresheners is quite pronounced and especially when it is warm, one literally craves for cheerful, fresh scents that do not crush and do not strain. High temperatures and high humidity do that all by themselves.
So this beautiful and uncomplicated fragrance from the house of Braukmann comes just in time.
With the Hilde, there are always very neat and pleasant things on the market at very affordable prices.

The Lemon Garden lives up to its name. Lemony and fresh is the start, finely acidic without the cleaning agent or monastery freshener associations often chalked up by citrus scents.
Slightly floral accompaniment, without becoming too floral. The flowers are clearly white, but do not become heavy or stuffy at any stage Woody appears only after a while, for my nose actually only in the base and gives the fragrance a twist at the end. Nicely done Actually, the essential thing would be said now. But I have made another discovery I have found that the Lemon Garden is a pretty good scent twin of Chanel's Cristalle Eau Verte.

I sprayed both fragrances several times in parallel and could hardly notice any differences. Cristalle Eau Verte came first, so I took a very nice example from Hilde and made something of it. Copying would be too mean now.
The fine acidic citrus notes, the white flowers, the progression to the base note, really almost identical. But from the base, both fragrances are clearly separated from each other.
Cristalle Eau Verte has a soft and flowery finish, one might think that a touch of clean musk has been added. Lemon Garden develops this woody note in the base, which even seems a little bit unclean and brittle. But this is also the biggest difference
As far as durability is concerned, both fragrances take nothing away from each other. As light fresh citrus scents are easily 6 hours inside and they both radiate about the same strength, are perceived within about 45 min quite quiet and then still close to the body.

I can confirm the suitability of both fragrances as beautiful, unobtrusive everyday companions.
Lemon Garden has been launched as a fragrance for him and her. I can sign for my sensibility as well as for Cristalle Eau Verte. Nothing looks madamish or too flowery The Lemon Garden's bottle is plain and simple and limited to the bare essentials, but sprays very well.
Chanel of course has the more valuable bottles, but also costs x times as much.

In direct comparison, Cristalle Eau Verte is slightly ahead for me, as I like the final phase a little better than at the Lemon Garden. Nevertheless, I can give an unqualified recommendation for the Lemon Garden, especially since the price is unbeatable and it is an all-round well-done scent. And if you are looking for an inexpensive and appealing alternative to Eau Verte, you can take it without hesitation.
Eau d'Hadrien from Goutal is also mentioned as another twin. I haven't heard about him yet. But the direction is probably the same I went here after my nose and the nose was pleasantly surprised.

Well done Hilde!

There's only a bump in the name
"Mediterra" sounds strangely bumpy to me. Like one of those - for today's ears - pretty product names from decades ago. What stands behind it, however, is able to convince roundabout.

The esteemed Mr. Fittleworth had already pointed out a proximity to Goutal's exquisite 'Eau d'Hadrien'. (His Braukmann bottle had found its way to me, by the way, within the framework of an exchange - thank you very much!). The first own impression actually called for a parallel test.

In style, the similarities are unmistakable. Nevertheless, three differences at least worth mentioning are shown:

1. The present candidate citrus fruits a jag more cautiously. A hint of bergamoty-lemon "cheese foot" can also be felt, but overall an absolutely plausible contribution of orange has a soothing effect. After a few minutes I even think of a splash of Neroli. The Goutal is, so to speak, more capricious in its citrus style, the bold Bergamot plays a greater role.

2. Mrs. Braukmann attaches more importance to flowers. Apart floral dabbed is her Lemon Garden, although this is a rather enigmatic event compared to the citrus overweight. Towards the afternoon, however, the said flowering loses itself.

3. The cypress idea is milder than in the Goutal, the latter is towards the end more towards the tree. An important point, because if the Goutal has a weakness, it is a woody stuffness backwards out. Mediterra Lemon Garden' simply disappears after about six, seven hours - which I find the better idea in this case.

Probably the freshness, always in the afternoon, is due to a certain amount of chemistry. In any case, Braukmann obviously does not stand for natural cosmetics at all. In the online shop there is only diffuse euphemistic (fooling around) talk of "natural recipes". Well... How it is with the scents - no idea. But it doesn't seem like a natural scent to me now.

What do you mean? 30 ml 'Mediterra Lemon Garden' is already available for EUR 9.95. The bottle is a simple cylinder, smaller than a deodorant roller (should it be important that the container measures almost 8 x 4 cm, that would be a fine, humorous tip; but I don't think so). Fits in every pocket and the apparently stable glass should withstand a lot. There's no issue with early replenishment.

Conclusion: Here only the name jolts. The fragrance is a great value for money tip that deserves an extra starlet for good manageability.

Yellow light
This citrussy scent doesn't exactly make waves, but at least it makes an uplifting splash. It emphasises the Eau-fraiche aspect, skipping the sensual part and concentrating on an ultra-citrussy note I'd call a kind of "yellow light". Not much of an asset in cold weather, but great for spraying something on without worrying about over-applying. A minimalist little number, nothing pretty or formal, just a light refreshment for broad daylight. Very affordable (around 10 Euros). The perfume bottle is utterly plain, much worse than the acceptable fragrance it houses.
