Great summer retreat for little money
My great preference for summery, carefree citrus fresheners is quite pronounced and especially when it is warm, one literally craves for cheerful, fresh scents that do not crush and do not strain. High temperatures and high humidity do that all by themselves.
So this beautiful and uncomplicated fragrance from the house of Braukmann comes just in time.
With the Hilde, there are always very neat and pleasant things on the market at very affordable prices.
The Lemon Garden lives up to its name. Lemony and fresh is the start, finely acidic without the cleaning agent or monastery freshener associations often chalked up by citrus scents.
Slightly floral accompaniment, without becoming too floral. The flowers are clearly white, but do not become heavy or stuffy at any stage Woody appears only after a while, for my nose actually only in the base and gives the fragrance a twist at the end. Nicely done Actually, the essential thing would be said now. But I have made another discovery I have found that the Lemon Garden is a pretty good scent twin of Chanel's Cristalle Eau Verte.
I sprayed both fragrances several times in parallel and could hardly notice any differences. Cristalle Eau Verte came first, so I took a very nice example from Hilde and made something of it. Copying would be too mean now.
The fine acidic citrus notes, the white flowers, the progression to the base note, really almost identical. But from the base, both fragrances are clearly separated from each other.
Cristalle Eau Verte has a soft and flowery finish, one might think that a touch of clean musk has been added. Lemon Garden develops this woody note in the base, which even seems a little bit unclean and brittle. But this is also the biggest difference
As far as durability is concerned, both fragrances take nothing away from each other. As light fresh citrus scents are easily 6 hours inside and they both radiate about the same strength, are perceived within about 45 min quite quiet and then still close to the body.
I can confirm the suitability of both fragrances as beautiful, unobtrusive everyday companions.
Lemon Garden has been launched as a fragrance for him and her. I can sign for my sensibility as well as for Cristalle Eau Verte. Nothing looks madamish or too flowery The Lemon Garden's bottle is plain and simple and limited to the bare essentials, but sprays very well.
Chanel of course has the more valuable bottles, but also costs x times as much.
In direct comparison, Cristalle Eau Verte is slightly ahead for me, as I like the final phase a little better than at the Lemon Garden. Nevertheless, I can give an unqualified recommendation for the Lemon Garden, especially since the price is unbeatable and it is an all-round well-done scent. And if you are looking for an inexpensive and appealing alternative to Eau Verte, you can take it without hesitation.
Eau d'Hadrien from Goutal is also mentioned as another twin. I haven't heard about him yet. But the direction is probably the same I went here after my nose and the nose was pleasantly surprised.
Well done Hilde!
