Spring in the Woods and Fields
Hello, may I introduce myself?
I am the little bumblebee. Although I am still small, I can already fly quite well, and when the morning sun warms the earth, I leave my nest and take off.
In the woods, there is always so much to discover and learn.
I really like the little flowers that cover the light forest floor like carpets. The dew makes everything shimmer and sparkle here. I don’t know all the names of the flowers yet, but they look beautiful with their small, white, star-shaped blossoms. There are also flowers shaped like little bells. Some smell spicy-fine, and others like sweet nectar. When I want to rest, I sit on a fresh leaf. The trees have just begun to bud, and the sap exudes a wonderful aura. I can also sense the tree resin. I sit still for a while and feel the leaf growing.
The sun rises higher, and the light changes. I make my way towards the edge of the forest, and a scent of woodruff wafts into my nose. My destination is the bushes with a thousand flowers, some white, some pale pink. Behind them, the field begins, where something is growing. Millions of yellow flowers have already opened here, and I test a few. Mmhh, interestingly bitter, but I don’t want any more of that.
Gradually, it gets warmer, and all the pleasant scents begin to fade.
On a worn path, a woman is walking. She smells of everything I like, and so I fly a little behind her.
But now it’s time to return. At home, I absolutely want to find out the names of the flowers I saw today.
