It is a very successful bottle, because with its beautiful pink to light blue color gradient, it captures the feeling of this fragrance perfectly.
Pure Cali Eau de Parfum is a very simple fragrance. We have cedar, pineapple and water lily, with the fresh, floral water lily forming the basis of the fragrance, on which a very friendly and sweet-fruity pineapple builds its aroma. The cedar, which barely stands out and does not add any woody accents, lingers in the background and is beautifully blended into the fragrance profile here.
The fact that such a simple fragrance captures such fantastically exotic vibes of a vacation in a distant foreign country is, for me at least, very impressive. It only takes 3 (official) notes to evoke images in the mind and feelings in the heart.
A really very good fragrance for warm summer days, which also exudes a pleasant lightness and is almost addictively delicious.
However, its simplicity is noticeable over time and it becomes a little dull after just a few hours. It's a shame, but Hollister is not a luxury brand. This is also noticeable in the quickly diminishing sillage and the short shelf life of around 4 hours until close to the skin.
Nevertheless, all in all a great women's fragrance for little money. A great vacation companion and otherwise a sweetener for everyday life, leisure time and summer parties.
