A drop of golden sun
I received a bottle of this as a gift from my late mother-in-law. She was a very elegant woman who enjoyed cosmetics and perfumes, so she often used to give me perfumes for birthdays and other occasions. I must say this one was the most right for me as if I had chosen it myself. I often wear it in winter because it’s so warm and sunny.

It’s comforting, cheerful, spicy, and confident. It feels in my nostrils like the sun on my skin: warm, delightful, slightly tangy. I have to be in the right mood to pull it off, but when I do, I always enjoy it very much and it puts an extra pep in my step.

When I first looked at the notes, coffee and ginger were an “aha” moment, because I felt them quite distinctly, but I was surprised that there was no amber in this. I was sure it was an amber fragrance – maybe sandalwood and Tonka beans created this illusion.

It radiates moderately but stays on my skin until the evening. On the hair, I can still smell it the next day. It’s one of my favorite comfort scents, but sometimes it can be too cheerful and loud – and it’s more about my mood and my ability to handle its energy, than temperature outside.

no passion, but with great feel-good potential
Once again, I had the opportunity to test one of the fragrances from ID Parfums/Isabel Derroisné.
A good acquaintance loves this fragrance line and ordered "Passion Latine" right after its release. And of course, I was invited to test it. I gladly accepted and was very impressed.

Here too, I encounter a fragrance that is very well crafted. The joy of working as a perfumer shines through, even if "Passion Latine" will never stand in the first or second row of the "great" fragrances.
I would like to recommend "Passion Latine" to lovers of full-bodied gourmand scents.
For a relatively small price at the moment, this creation brings a lot of joy.

The freshness of the mandarin, not overly synthetic here, harmonizes with the slight tingling of ginger. With my pronounced pepper allergy, this tingling occurs quite quickly.
(In nature, I even have to avoid ginger.)
What is referred to as "Coffee Opera Cake Accord" in the offerings of the distributing company Dr. Pierre Ricaud develops wonderfully warm.
A trip to a coffee and cocoa plantation has been captured here; the coffee is fragrant and invigorating, while the cocoa note develops for me only later.
In my opinion, this "Opera Cake," which could very well be at home in Vienna, includes a generous portion of creamy vanilla and tonka bean. Both correspond excellently with the aroma of the coffee, which prevents this fragrance-cake mixture from becoming too sweet.
Jasmine adds a certain exotic touch: skillfully dosed and with the usual recognition effect: just a tiny bit "stinky"; a hint of the fully developed large white bloom!
As a jasmine lover (during the blooming season, I always have a few branches in my room, which, however, are banished to the balcony at night!), I welcome this nuance of floralness; it embraces me lovingly.
Now cocoa also makes an appearance - a bit bitter, just how I like it - and pleasantly rounds off the previous fragrance experience.
Sandalwood, alongside patchouli one of my favorites, brings a certain sensuality: the scent reaches its peak, and I have noticed that especially men respond very positively to it.
Well, maybe it was just the "sweet-toothed" people I know so well who are particularly enthusiastic about cream cakes with "whatever" (oops, here I plagiarize the spelling of Günter Grass: forgive me!).

Both sillage and longevity are extremely good; this South American impression, which can actually be found in every well-kept and wonderfully old-fashioned café, accompanies pleasantly for several hours and can also survive a lively evening without needing a re-spray.
This scent progression belongs to those that slowly and politely withdraw without leaving unpleasant remnants. A light trace remains, pleasantly awakening the memory of a rich cream cake with excellent coffee. And it asks for "more."

As a customer of the skincare line from Dr. Pierre Ricaud and through this dear acquaintance, I have had the chance to get to know many of the fragrances from ID Parfum/Isabel Derroisné; I even have two in my collection.
Here too, I encounter a fragrance that, while it does not ignite passion, brings a very large feel-good effect.
It is a warm, sweet, and simultaneously bitter-scented fragrance mélange that can bring much joy now as winter begins: for me, a clear invitation to cuddle and softly purr: a hug from a loving person!

I would also like to mention that "Winterlicht" has truly shown courage. Dedicating the first comment here to a fragrance that is usually only considered "also-ran" is already a big decision.
I can fully understand the content of this comment. Thank you very much!
I would not buy "Passion Latine." But if this fragrant fellow were to stray into my collection, I would gladly welcome and use it.
Opportunities for that would not be rare in this season.
Because the "Chocolat" phase of the year is just beginning. And now I really mean the extremely sensual film pleasure with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp!
We already have the scent for that!

"Passion satine"
This new perfume should actually be called Passion satine, as it strongly reminds me of Code satin by Armani.
The bottle immediately makes me want to take a bite; I suspect something fruity and daring.
The scent starts fresh and invigorating; I can smell ginger. As it develops, a depth emerges with light vanilla, and wow, I can really smell coffee. In the base, with cocoa and tonka bean, it provides a sense of comfort. For me, it’s a great scent-erotic, invigorating, definitely lifts my mood.
When the fragrance arrived by post, I had just had a totally stressful workday and was longing for sweatpants, tea, and chocolate. The scent threw a wrench in my plans; I quickly showered with Passion latine shower gel, put on the perfume, did my makeup, and I thought life is actually pretty great...
My husband also thinks the scent is fantastic :) At work/leisure, I have already been complimented on the fragrance several times.
Clear recommendation to buy at a low price; sillage and longevity are good.
So that was my first comment; please be forgiving.

I can't stand it at all, it's sharp and synthetic. Jasmine overpowers everything, potential for a headache.

Not passion, but comfort: coffee and cocoa with rich vanilla and jasmine notes, slightly fruity and sparkling!
