Mystical Breath of Fresh Air
First of all, a big “Buuuuh!” for the perceived 5 minutes of longevity. Otherwise, there’s nothing for me to complain about. A delighted “Ah, how beautiful!” from a friend, along with a nod of approval from my partner, is quite a success for me, especially since I often struggle with the picky noses around me...
'Cashmere Musk' is not what you usually find under this name. Instead, the scent is incredibly fresh, feminine, floral, and slightly spicy. Ylang-Ylang and coconut surprisingly complement each other well, and the cedar, which I often have issues with, together with musk and sandalwood, creates a beautiful, spicy heart/base note. The overall impression remains mild-sweet and fresh with very subtle green nuances.
For me, this is the equivalent of a waterfall on a cool, fresh spring morning, somewhere in... let’s say New Zealand. 'Cashmere Musk' is also a bit mystical, so it’s not far from a hobbit or two...
The sillage is not particularly strong, making it more suitable for ladies looking for a more discreet companion. I would totally consider getting 'Cashmere Musk' - but not at that price with such poor longevity. At this point, another loud “Buuuuuh!”
