Grey dust
This is a fresh-synthetic musk, somewhere between a faded Lily-of-the-valley and a cool summer breeze. Minimal complexity is achieved by a violet-powdery note and some patchouli-dust. A hardly noticeable fruity accent lightens things up again.

There is a sense of quality in the way it wears on skin. It feels very smooth, even on the hotter days. But the wearability can not make up for the lack of appeal. Nothing really happens or stands out. Like all is blended into grey dusty matter and all color and taste is lost.

Grandma pulls out the powder box
Rarely have I encountered a fragrance where I liked the top note so much. It starts off intensely citrusy fresh. Sparkling, clean, and radiant. Cool like a March morning. However, one must really appreciate the intensity; my loved one initially found 'Rajamusk' made him sneeze.

I, for one, enjoyed the fresh, fruity-floral combination of bergamot and pear - until a strange plastic note reached my nose. Something synthetic that reminded me of cheap plastic, not too bad, but also not really pleasant. This must be the beginning of the heart note, which immediately opens the powder box with a lot of patchouli and a bit less musk.

'Rajamusk' remains a bright, fresh scent, but now gains warmth and sweetness from the violet and becomes very close to the skin. However, it also becomes more boring... after the heart note has fully developed, the exciting, sparkling quality fades, and I find the fragrance starts to feel somewhat old-fashioned. I've experienced musk in more beautiful compositions before.

The sillage is only decent at the very beginning; after that, it weakens significantly. The longevity is also not impressive. And it is not a unisex fragrance either, especially the heart and base notes are, in my opinion, far too feminine.

Conclusion: Not for me, but for those who like it classic and powdery.

For me, it's a scent medley - passing by Nivea, Sculpture Homme, a moment of Eternity. Nothing to do with old-fashioned. Summer body scent...
