Knowing these words makes it very easy to immerse oneself in the relaxing, fragrant world of a luxurious wellness spa in scent form, fully surrendering to its pampering and tender caresses of the senses.
Right at the reception of this "wellness oasis in scent," a white and very cozy, elegantly light bathrobe made of soft, sensually warm musk wraps around you pleasantly, enticing you into another, more beautiful world:
The threshold to it is easily crossed.
From my perspective, this is a remarkable statement: Too much, too powdery musk often makes it difficult for me to access many fragrances; especially the terms “white” and “powdery” usually make me shy away from a closer acquaintance in advance: A mistake?
I admit: With “Cheval Blanc Paris,” that would have been a mistake, even though I always pushed this lingering hint of a scent sample away from me; the pyramid with its fragrance notes had previously kept me from testing it.

But: “Surprise!”
Rich white flowers (I’m just following my scent experience here: probably sensual large-flowered jasmine, magnificent tuberose, perhaps also the precious Rosa Alba, but definitely the beautiful May rose and of course the “Dior lily of the valley”) were nestled here on a lush layer of powder; so fine and so delicately fragrant.

For a full-day stay in this scent spa, it’s not enough due to the Dior-typical sillage and longevity, but a multi-hour luxury break is definitely possible with “Cheval Blanc Paris.”

I really love these wellness temples, these oases of silence, of soft words, of gentle touches, where often a small fountain gurgles in the background.
I can hardly get enough of them and therefore welcome “Cheval Blanc Paris” with great, sensual pleasure.
Will I quietly purr over time?

More of a Room Fragrance

I received Cheval Blanc Paris today as a sample, and of course, I had to test this exclusive scent immediately. Dior and I usually don't get along very well, as some readers of my reviews may have already noticed. However, with every new release from Dior, curiosity wins out, and I have to try the fragrance, just like with Cheval Blanc Paris.

I really like the scent, but unfortunately, we come to the biggest disadvantage of Cheval Blanc Paris right away. To me, the fragrance doesn't smell like something I would want to wear as a perfume, but rather like a room fragrance, especially those often found in SPAs. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for me to wear Cheval Blanc Paris, as I somehow don't feel like I'm wearing a perfume.

I can't say much about the notes. The three listed notes are recognizable, and a powdery, floral scent emerges, which has a linear progression.

The longevity is solid but not outstanding. I could smell Cheval Blanc Paris for about 8 hours, which is in the solid range. The sillage is always a bit under an arm and after 4-5 hours, it's already close to the skin.
