About Florence starts fresh-rosy, unfortunately more rose than peony, as the peony's herbal note is missing. The fresh, slightly sour bergamot does dominate at first but quickly retreats to the background. The patchouli clearly provides the earthy-spicy counterpart.
The blend reminds me of a fresh rose/oud combo due to the spicy patch, which somehow also develops subtly smoky but distinctly for me. The rather fresh start thus gains a few darker nuances.
Nevertheless, it is a pleasing and pleasant companion for the day. With a longevity of 3-4 hours and moderate sillage.
