I lived on a country estate for a long time, which I found very pleasant.
The company of animals is the best there is - and there you could still see the stars in the dark night sky.
But now and then, I was drawn to the city - and I reveled in all the many colorful lights and illuminations.
Here, the nights were loud and lively - and bright.
I even enjoyed the fancy bustling McDonald's, which knew no night-time peace.
Silence? Not a chance. Music, engine noise, chatter, laughter.
These days, that often annoys me - but in the past, I enjoyed this scene.
