Moments Without Fuss
Moments Without Fuss - that's exactly the slogan from Jean & Len for their Alchimiste line!
And I can only agree with that :) I thought the slogan was great when I read it.
About two years ago, I was looking for a scent that wasn't ubiquitous because I wanted to stand out with a perfume :) and I stumbled upon Jean & Len by chance.
Unlike others, I had never seen this one (I should mention that I'm still quite new to the world of perfume and many are still new to me ^^).
So back then I found "Alchimiste - Britannia Club | Jean & Len," which was my first blind buy from Jean & Len, followed by the second blind buy of "Alchimiste - Soho Lounge | Jean & Len."
Now to the most important part :)
The scent exudes a pleasant and unique fruity freshness. The apple mint is clearly noticeable at first, but not too overwhelming. The fragrance is truly UNIQUE; I know nothing comparable. Here, it wasn't about copycatting, but about being one-of-a-kind. I still love the fruity freshness....
The longevity and sillage could use some improvement, but I can overlook that given the price-performance ratio.
Moments without much fuss certainly applies to the fragrance notes in the Alchimiste line, as getting so much out of so little is remarkable.
So, if you’re into variety and want to experience a "new" scent, I can really recommend Soho Lounge...
But I still hope this stays between us ^^ because I like to smell different from others :p
As for how I would assess Jean & Len (without research) as a "smaller" company, I find their presence in the rather large market above average and also unique.
The bottle impresses with a simple vessel for spraying this delicious substance :)
I believe it’s also vegan, in case that’s of interest to some.
Unobtrusive yet seductive, I can completely agree with that.
I’m looking forward to my next blind buys from Jean & Len ^^
