Is this what angels smell like?

I can't decide which Celine fragrance I like best. Black Tie? La Peau Nue? This? Yes, maybe this one. They're all so wonderfully soft and fluffy, yet a the same time sophisticated and elegant.
Saint-Germain-des-Près is the freshest of the bunch. It starts out with classic cologne-like neroli and petitgrain, and then quickly uncovers its pretty base of vanilla, sweet heliotrope and iris. Celine really does iris so well, it's clean and powdery here, very minimalistic without any hints of earthiness or lipstick. The rest of the scent feels very creamy. It has a perfect balance of warm and cool notes. It kind of smells like what I imagine luxury products for babies would smell like. Angelic.

This would make the perfect daytime signature. I can't imagine a time or place where it would be inappropriate to smell like this cream and powder dream, except for a smokey bar or club. It's just way too innocent for that.

Clean expensive cozy fresh scent

I tasted all Celine Exclusive line and i have to say i was suprise that in this period of “hey lets make a perfume, it is a good busness today” Period when new perfumes are falling on us like heavy rain, they still manage to create nice line.
This one is my favorite. It is clean iris with fresh notes of some citrus and just right perfect not sweet sweetness.
It stays on clothes days but very soft clean beautiful pleasant scent.

It is nothing head turning. Its sopay clean (Infusion iris kind of) scent.
No, it is not similar to Infusion iris but in same cathegory; expensive clean smell.

Nice but doesn't last

I adore Celine and can really wear anything in the line happily, this one ranks in the bottom half for me, but I'd still happily own it.
Celine fragrances are essentially skin scents, and they don't last long, but this one really disappears on me within 2 hours leaving the faintest memory of a citrusy vanillaish scent.
Still, it's quite pretty and lighter/less powdery than others in the line.

Softly Green, Citrusy marshmallows

Despite the note breakdown, it is green and a tiny bit sharp up front from the Petitgrain, but that sharpness quickly dissipates, and dries down to a a slightly sweet lemon custard & marshmallow powdery vanilla. This doesn’t project very far, but I love the ethereal scent bubble it gives me. This would work great as a signature scent and is inoffensive but still high quality.

Crushed Green Leaves, Tree Sap, and Something Screechy

A sample of Saint-Germain-des-Prés came with my purchase of Dans Paris. From the notes, I expected to love this. However, that is not the case.

The petitgrain opens very green, like crushed green leaves and some drops of tea sap. Reminds me to when I made some cuttings from my Philodendrons early in Spring.

But there is something very sweet, very powdery, and very screechy accompanying the petitgrain here. I sprayed it on my wrist once, with the tiny atomizer from the sample, and it's so strong that after 5 minutes it gave me a headache lol. This definitely can't be more different compared to Dans Paris in terms of sillage! But for the price? To be honest the Un Jardin line from Hermes is much better if you're looking for some fresh green scents.
