golden renaissance of summer
The late summer guest performance of the last few days tempted me to a short trip to Provence. Although not in reality, but only by a few sprays from the flacon filled with "Verveine Cédrat", but the flight of thought there succeeds, my carefully woven by the brand "Jeanne en Provence" fragrance carpet takes me there.
Only this time it is not the expected lavender summer or the fragrant surroundings of the city of Grasse, in which I land; my carpet lands in the middle of a Hesperidehain, richly stocked with a variety of citrus trees and so already offers a wonderfully fragrant ambience.
There still fragrant lemons, bitter orange and other types of the southern fruits in various stages of ripeness hang in the branches of the shady trees.
What an aroma develops immediately; not only the fresh fruity to be expected, but also the rich spice of verbena growing abundantly nearby, tousled by the gentle hand of a light wind, wafting over.
As mentioned, I love the scent of this herb very much; even just a cup of verbena tea after a meal is a pure pleasure for me, and yet regularly transports me to a table in front of a small bistro somewhere in the south of France.
So how could I resist the fragrance development of "Verveine Cédrat" on my no longer young and very wayward skin?
I am surrounded not by the peak of midsummer freshness, but by the golden aromatic maturity of the melange so far, the Hesperides trees and nature surrounding me felt slowly release their solar energy and heat collected during long hours in the form of spicy, slightly smoky resins.
Fine musk-soaked clouds of fragrance lie autumn mists equal over all the summer renaissance, which was designed here so seemingly simple.
It is always a pleasure to discover these harmonious compositions of these manufactures.
They harbor a beautiful mood in their mostly simple, but often surprisingly filled flacons.
Lovers of this flower and herb-covered landscape come here at their expense.
It is worthwhile to turn off from the well-worn fragrance route to the smaller country roads and discover the treasures there.
Which, by the way, for me includes not only eau de cologne, but also soap in the form of the classic pieces: the two can not be separated for me!
Of course, "Verveine Cédrat" is also from sillage and durability only a short trip; but this is enough to delight the heart and soul sensually.
