Sun-Warmed Lemon
At first, I puzzled for quite a while over what this scent reminded me of.
My favorite fragrance from Jeanne en Provence is Verveine Cédrat. I really love it, and Verveine Thé Blanc could be described as the sunny, radiant sister of the citrus-fresh Verveine Cédrat. However, these two fragrances are too different to be considered similar. Verveine Thé Blanc is a bit more herbal, and the citrus notes are warmer. In my mind, it is a lemon warmed by the sun.
Once I had this image in my mind, I realized where I knew the scent from. It really resembles A Girl In Capri very much. I then tested both at the same time and noticed only a minimal difference. A Girl in Capri is a bit sweeter, while Verveine Thé Blanc has this very slightly herbal note added. Perhaps that is the note of white tea.
Longevity and sillage are good, especially when you consider how affordable this fragrance is.
