Valor Enigma Khadlaj 2024

The Valor Enigma was a blind and poor purchase on my part. After all, many of these oriental fragrances cannot be tested, and it's easy to make a mistake.

In this case, it’s primarily due to the piercing opening, which lasts a good half hour. I don't smell oregano; I mainly smell cannabis. Since I can't even stand the smell of that in real life, the fragrance completely falls out of my comfort zone.

What I do recognize, however, is that Khadlaj has created a unique scent here that is not only affordable but also certainly interesting for many people. It has a very high-quality presentation, the bottle is an eye-catcher, and the performance is good (about 6-8 hours). The cannabis note is eventually replaced by a sweet-smelling patchouli, making the Enigma a bit softer and rounder, but that doesn't change the fact that I would never leave the house wearing this fragrance again.

So, a strong performer (the sillage is very present for the first two hours), which I sold immediately!
