Companion for More Than One Spring
Nanadebary had released 3 fragrances some time ago that I found very appealing. Then it went quiet, and now I heard that she had sold her business to make a comeback with 4 new fragrances under the label "Liaison de Parfum."
"Stay with me" is one of them, and my absolute favorite "perfume aunt" from Hamburg (my gem) sent me a sample of this Eau de Parfum, hitting right in my current fragrance heart.
A truly caressing perfume that almost makes me a bit addicted with its ambered powderiness.
Jasmine and lily in the opening give it a spring-like freshness, and against the morning chill, a hint of vanilla immediately warms the heart. The white flowers are caught by very light woody notes, and I find this very subtle salty note combined with a hint of rose and musk quite sexy, which I had only known from S-Perfume where it comes across as more animalistic.
I can't initially pick out citrus notes or orange blossom.
(Which is just fine with me since I'm not a fan of them, and if they do their job in the background, then they are doing well.)
What lingers on the clothes after hours is something you want to inhale deeper and deeper: warm, soft, ambered closeness.
Great longevity and sufficient sillage for my currently sensitive nose make this perfume a true rediscovery for me.
I also find the simple design of the bottle and packaging very successful, although the handling when spraying in this bottle format will always be a disaster. Anyway, I gladly accept the invitation of this fragrance and stay.
