... perfectly captures this scent for me.
Mirabella gifted me this fragrance, and it hit me like a grenade. For days, I wandered through perfume shops, sniffing around without success. This time, I wanted something sweeter, fruitier with a wow effect. I had set my sights on 2 fragrances: Amouage Sunshine was great on the test strip, but it's currently too expensive for me, so no skin test. M.Micallef's Art Collection - Rouge N°2 was also wonderful on the strip and on sale, but unfortunately boring on the skin. My frustration purchase was then Le Heure Bleu and Omnia Amethyst, both lovely but not what I actually wanted. Then came the early gift package, and since I was stressed and it already had a slight scent, I opened it early... just in case something might have leaked. But it was only an incense stick.
Now, onto the fragrance. The name is just silly. I had the vial in my hand and thought: What is this supposed to be? Do I want to smell something that slowly kills me? It must be dreadful, this little water. But well, now it's here, so let's hop onto Parfumo and list it.
The bottle, however, I liked much more. It reminds me a bit of a black Fabergé egg... pure luxury. However, not quite so noble, but rather edgy in black latex. I think of BDSM. A dark side, something evil, dishonorable about greed and suffering.
Ooohhhhh exclusively available in Russia. That sounds interesting, I think. I like Russia; they tend to keep poodles, and the ladies are very disciplined. Icy winters, furs, caviar, luxury, people, and free dogs living in subways and heating shafts to avoid freezing or working hard for little pay. The country is vast, and there are very, very poor and very rich people, metropolises, and open land. A completely different world than the one we live in here. Somehow, the bottle fits. My curiosity is piqued.
So, a test directly on the skin!
I smell sweet lychee and tart blackcurrant bud. The top note starts with strong sillage, incredibly beautiful. Bitter-sweet, I want to bathe in it. It's rare that I've smelled such a lovely combination. Deliciously fruity, not synthetic, and yet not overpowering. Unfortunately, the top note fades quite quickly, and the scent becomes slightly floral, creamier, and softer. Like a light, freshly washed chiffon kimono, it envelops me. A hint of nothing, cool silk that still keeps you warm. It's almost like being naked, only that the delicate silk fabric, printed with fruits, buds, branches, and leaves, embroidered with delicate flowers, moves with every breeze and brushes against my skin. Innocently clean and cool yet warm and erotic. And like a wonderful dream that continues to fade and become more unreal after awakening, having touched heart and soul, and the longing for this bliss almost tears you apart inside as you realize it keeps slipping through your fingers. So the name makes sense.
Unfortunately, the longevity on my skin isn't great, and after 2-3 hours, it's sadly all over... or so faint that I can hardly perceive it. That's why the 5ml is already used up after 3 days. But because the dear God sometimes looks out for me, he placed a whole bottle for me at a bargain in the souk ;)
