The Slightly Stuffy Pear
Until recently, I wasn't really familiar with Korres fragrances. But my knowledge is steadily increasing, as I see more and more Korres scents (and other Korres products like creams, shower gels, etc.) in several perfumeries, and secondly, a seemingly Korres-obsessed Parfuma keeps pushing Korres fragrance samples on me! :D
So it’s quite possible that I will describe more of these scents here in the future! But also because I feel that I will continue to receive more Korres samples over time :D
Today, I’m getting to Bergamot Pear, from which I, of course, received a sample from the aforementioned crazy person,… I mean, of course, Parfuma! :D
So, let’s get started!
A little later, jasmine becomes noticeable; however, this does not make the scent overly sweet. It’s more of a floral blossom note with only moderate sweetness. Additionally, these floral notes seem a bit dry or stuffy, not as bad as with some other stuffy floral fragrances, but you can still perceive it a little.
Later on, it still primarily smells of pears and floral scents, although the fragrance has become a bit stuffier, which still isn’t as bad as it might sound. And that’s about it for this scent, as not much more comes through, or the fragrance doesn’t develop further. This isn’t necessarily bad if you like a consistently smelling fragrance.
The longevity is also only moderate at three to four hours, which is okay for summer fragrances since most of these scents have a longevity of just about three or four hours, at least those with fresh and citrus notes.
So, to be honest, the scent isn’t bad, really not. But for me personally, it just smells a bit too stuffy for me to find it very appealing. For anyone who enjoys fruity-floral scents, especially those that smell almost unchanged over a longer period, can certainly take a "sniff" here, as the scent is okay for the affordable price.
In my opinion, it is only wearable during the day, e.g., as a simple scent for everyday use like at work. Because for going out, it is not only weak in sillage but also quite unremarkable.
By the way, I recommend checking out the creams from the Korres brand as well, as they often smell very nice and could possibly be combined with the fragrances or shower gels. Because many say that a scent with the corresponding cream and/or shower gel should last longer, but I can’t confirm that!
And even if you don’t want to combine them with the fragrances, you can also use the creams excellently on their own.
So, I wish everyone a nice weekend :)
“See” you here again tomorrow, probably :DD

The Scent:
At first, I immediately smell the pear, along with floral notes that I can't quite identify yet. Bergamot is still somewhat present, but considering the fragrance is named after it, it smells rather weak. A little later, jasmine becomes noticeable; however, this does not make the scent overly sweet. It’s more of a floral blossom note with only moderate sweetness. The Sillage and Longevity:
The projection is moderate and will therefore only be noticeable to others from close range. And this only for a short time, as hardly anyone has noticed the scent on me. The longevity is also only moderate at three to four hours, which is okay for summer fragrances since most of these scents have a longevity of just about three or four hours, at least those with fresh and citrus notes.
The Bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and tinted reddish-brown. The label as well as all patterns and other writings are printed directly on the bottle and are also somewhat tactile, which makes handling the bottle more pleasant. However, they cannot make the bottle a visual delight :DSo, to be honest, the scent isn’t bad, really not. But for me personally, it just smells a bit too stuffy for me to find it very appealing.
