A lovely, summer scent that reminds you of the beach

This fragrance does exactly what you'd think that it would. It's a sunny, summer scent that, on my skin, brings forward notes of frangipani, vanilla, and sand. Something about it reminds me of nice, warm skin with sunscreen on it.

It is a linear scent with little evolution, so what you smell at first sniff stays fairly similar after a day of wear. While most of the time I prefer a fragrance that evolves, this fragrance is simple, and does exactly what it needs to. I have such pleasant associations with this scent.

Some prefer to keep scents like these stowed away in the winter, but I love it during the colder months to remind me that summer isn't too far away.

A sweet fragrance that works in summer heat

This whole summer I was craving a sweet beachy fragrance that won't give me a headache and in September I belatedly found the perfect one - Aegean Bronze. To me it reads predominantly as a charming blend of frangipani and soft, non-cloying, airy vanilla. The notes of citrus and freesia are not clearly discernable although I believe they are present and discreetly play a role in giving the perfume it's light and breezy character. Frangipani and sand notes automatically trick my brain into classifying a perfume as "tropical smelling" and "beach scent" although the sand note is not nearly as clear and prominent as in Eau de Soleil Blanc It has a sweet, creamy, almost milky quality to it and I can see how it can remind some people of a milky body lotion. However I wouldn't say this smells like sunscreen at all. It's a close cousin to the sunscreeny genre of coconut-and-tropical-florals perfumes and undoubtedly it's meant to serve a similar purpose but it doesn't actually convey "sunscreen" in the same way Beach Walk does.

Aegean Bronze is a fairly long lasting fragrance that will stick to your clothes for days after you wore them. To be honest I'm not a fan of how it dries down on fabrics since it loses a lot of complexity and leaves behind a sugary cotton candy aroma. The drydown on my skin is a lot more pleasant and balanced and it performs very well in sweaty late summer conditions. The projection is not particularly big since the scent was designed with hot weather in mind. However, if having a noticeable aura is what you're into you can give it a few extra sprays and it's definitely capable of forming a pleasant scent trail that will perceptibly waft around as you move. The price is excellent and you can easily find discounts on Korres products. I obtained a 50 ml bottle for about 21 EUR thanks to a late summer sale.

Most importantly Aegean Bronze is a light, cheerful and sexy fragrance that can noticeably improve one's mood and makes for a great summer companion.

Summery, Fresh and Sunny Hypnotic Poison

This perfume reminds me of hypnotic poison, it isn't a clone or a dupe, I wouldn't even call it that similar, but I could see it as a summer, fresh, and sunny flanker of the hypnotic poison collection.

It is a summer perfume only imo, it is a smell I could see a very expensive tanning lotion with glitter and all the goods having. The spun sugar and the sand are the more prominent notes to me, the flowers are not as prominent, it has a very beachy, salty summer and creamy sweet smell, with the slightest feel of coconut, even though it isn't on the notes. The citruses are also not very prominent as notes, but they are very much there as a feeling, even though very warm, sweet, and creamy it is also a very very fresh summery scent.

Like all Korres perfumes, it is a beast for warm weather, it isn't suffocating or choky, but the smell is definitely there.

....or the largest Greek airline....Aegan Bronze by Korres is unfortunately just a lukewarm breeze for me at the moment. Delicate coconut note and frangipani, vanilla mixes in, definitely no citrus in the opening. More of a sunscreen association. Maybe I’m just missing the Greek blue (sky and sea) and the sand beneath my feet right now. This clean summer companion will probably feel different then. A blend of Soleil Blanche and the unfortunately discontinued Sun di Gioia, not as boring as the Quaed al Fursan unlimited. But do you really want to annoy your fellow humans with a wall of perfume at 36 degrees and above...No.

Interesting: for 20 min very syrupy sweet, later a green sweetness with a fresh kick + delicate flowers. If the start were different, I'd buy it 100 %.
