Cashmere Kumquat Korres 2020 Eau de Toilette

If you like Alien and love floral, almond, and very soft powder then Cashmere Kumquat is a safe choice. It's an improved alien imo, a little lighter and a touch more fruity. It is white floral, warm cashmere, and has a note of citrus more prominent at the beginning, It's not an aggressive, fresh citrus-ness, but a more subtle one closer to orange but more aromatic bc of the kumquat, with an undertone of vanilla and almond. The cashmere fits perfectly as it is not a sharp citrus fragrance but very soft and warm.

If you are familiar with kumquat, it is not as aromatic as you might expect, it is, but not as much. I eat kumquat fairly often we make them into a desert and a liqueur, and it has a more complex smell than an orange. It is sweet and tart, which can come off as lemony, but not sharp, and has an aromatic quality that is reminiscent of pine. In this perfume, the aromatic tendency is not as prominent, but it also makes it much safer as a perfume. That being said I wouldn't call it boring, even though safer.

This is a lovely perfume that I recently discovered in the pharmacy of my neighborhood.
It opens with an orangy scent. After some minutes, I'm smelling a lovely warm almond scent and vanilla.
Reminds me of spring walks in roads full of orange blossoms.
Its so fresh and pleasant to smell. Not heavy in any case. I'm wearing it during all day. I think I prefer wearing it during warm weather.

I could say its perfect for this pocket-friendly price tag BUT...Oh I wish it would last longer!

If you grew up in the 80s/90s you might remember this perfume. My late father came back from a work trip and gifted it to me when I was around 12/13— I felt so sophisticated and grown up. I also remember receiving so many compliments. Cashmere Kumquat is definitely in the same family— sweet, creamy, warm vanilla with almond and thick orange blossom, it’s beautiful and comforting.

Korres was not a name I was familiar with for a long time. However, the brand truly creates high-quality, wonderful fragrances that admittedly often have a famous counterpart but do not need to hide behind it. I also stumbled upon the bottle of Cashmere Kumquat by chance and must admit I expected something completely different.

Fruity almond-jasmine fully bloomed in a cashmeran cloak. Soft, sexy, alluring, and yet cozy.
"Cashmere Kumquat | Korres" has a prominent counterpart. Alien Eau de Parfum! And yes, the scent smells very similar to Alien, but it lacks that dirty, dense, and strong almost hypnotic aura of Alien. Nevertheless, the Korres is just as sensual.

The southern fruits in the top note are present for a long time but are quickly underscored by cashmere and the enchanting blend of O-flower, jasmine, and almond.
The flowers, however, are not as dense as in Alien, which makes the scent much more suitable for everyday wear than its counterpart.
Almond here is not marzipan-sweet but has almost a green quality.
Cashmere makes the scent cozy soft and extremely pleasing. When the fine cedar-vanilla base sneaks in after 2-3 hours, you are enveloped in an exceedingly flattering aura.
The scent is definitely a compliment magnet.

For me, Cashmere Kumquat lasts a good 7 hours, and the cashmere-vanilla base is still slightly perceptible after 12 hours.
This results in a great price-performance ratio as the simple bottle (with an exceedingly ugly cap) can be obtained for a really small amount.

Anyone who finds Alien too strong/dense should definitely give this one a try.

Cashmere, almond, vanilla, and cedarwood - what could come of this??? A very powdery, feminine, and delicious kiss. In the background, I perceive subtle herbal traces, but nothing bitter, rather leaning towards aromatic. The fruity components blend very pleasantly with this powdery body and soul caresser. A truly exquisite symbiosis. I see the scent as more aligned with femininity, but who knows, or what does it matter... everything goes for everyone!
This very gentle and gourmand companion is suitable for summer at 35 degrees and for cuddling in cold -10 degree winter weather. It is physically very close to you and only reveals itself when you come very, very close. The skin smells lovely - tender - with a little secret (the herbs?). Longevity is around 4-6 hours, and it only makes a pleasant impression. Beautiful simple amber-colored glass bottle with a great price of 35 euros. This company should be taken seriously - great products and prices.
I just thought of something else: I find this perfume somehow fluffy-soft.
