Talking about similarities...
Here we have the first men fragrance from Korres brand from Greece.Korres is a brand who use votanic ingredients in their cosmetics.I am big fan of the shower gels because they are very cheap for their quality (my favourites are the citron,vanilla-cinamon,ginger-lemon and the yogurt).
But here we have also another clone of YSL La Nuit (in my opinion) and a scent very similar with Puma Push the Heat and Zara Strolling Over Heaven ( I have written statements for both of them) and it is possible with many others.Let's make it clear La Nuit is only one ,the original, although I can not ignore
so many similarities and the price,
Now,Korres VGC is basically a linear sweet, flowery and less spicy-woody scent.I recognize the lavender, the cardamon, and the cedarwood and less bergamot, vetiver and amber.I can't capture any tea and oakmoss notes.Longevity and sillage are very weak. You could use it as an eau de cologne and definitely not as a perfume..It is a daily, versatile fragrance for all seasons excluding the very hot days
.If I had to compare it with the other two aforementioned fragrances I would say that the scents are very similar after 10 minutes of the spray.Korres is slightly sweeter and Zara a bit more dry.Puma has better longevity and Zarra is the cheaper but Korres is phthalates and compound free(as it's written in the flask).
So if you are looking for an alternative and budjet YSL LN τhe choise is yours.

Sounds good - but it's not!
Beside the quite chic "Water Cedar Lime" my second Korres conquest this year was "Vetiver Root Green Tea Cedarwood". Blind and away from the spot due to the melodious name. And what sounds like a potpourri of some of my favourite fragrances ever turns out to be quite a flop. That's the way it goes. You can wear it, nobody says anything bad about it in the office, but there he only has to hold his own against Deos, Boss Bottled and Co. Otherwise I was disappointed to measure.

No matter on which of the three components in the name one concentrates, the fragrance does not deliver. The anticipation is hewn into the face. And beyond that it is synthetic, cheap and gossipy. Undefinable partial. No sign of good transitions. It is most reminiscent of fixed No Name skin creams, but they are many times cheaper, although Korres fragrances are already very cheap. I'm afraid you can tell here. It is most likely still a creamy-fresh, inconspicuous Tonkak cracker, as it is available in the mainstream sector dozens of times (better). Of tea, vetiver or cedar only a hint when it comes up. Almost a label scam. Something you probably had to write on the package, to really recognize something between the confused confusion, you can't. That's just not good enough. At least for claims above drugstore level. Sounds picky, but unfortunately it's the truth. He probably wants to please everyone and has as much recognition value as a handkerchief. And no used. I'm sure Korres can do better than that. Also at a reduced price.

Flacon: this is somehow nischig and minimalistic cool.
Sillage: quietly and quickly away - 4 hours if you are lucky.

Conclusion: Korres and I are now 1:1, a (subtle) hit, a flop. This Vetivermis fate is unfortunately only sweet, unround Plörre. Let's go.

Liquorice grating made easy
"Ravioli - porcini mushrooms - truffles" ... This is how the most simple menus today are read in restaurants in the "Haute Cuisine" category. Korres handles it in a similar way and thus certainly meets the zeitgeist ... as well as my curiosity. The filling of the ravioli and how the sauce is prepared are not known. So also in VGC (abbreviated) there are a lot of other ingredients, which unfold in my nose to a tasty olfactory meal. Everything "organic", of course, because the Greek company says it does not use any chemicals that might be used elsewhere (but I can't really judge that). But it's also well received today, the green rail.

Green, on the other hand, is not VGC from the smell picture, even if green tea should be in it. Rather, for me it is a slightly sweet and discreetly creamy flatterer who fits perfectly into autumn, which is naturally underpinned by the woody foundation. If you (like me) don't like it too sweet and intrusive, VGC is a good and affordable choice for you. Not cheap, but that wouldn't do justice to the brand image either. I am positively surprised by this blind purchase, which for me follows the same basic direction as YSL L'Homme, but is a bit less soft in the base.

Apicius may see it differently, but he also has a lot of expensive noble brands in his closet. If you have a Porsche in your garage, you will probably have a hard time with a solid middle class Japanese! ;-) Anyway, I can well imagine trying one of the other Korres fragrances!

Yuk! No trace of any of the 3 notes in the name. Indefinable, sickly sweet mess. I've tried most Korres scents & this is the worst.
