Rose, rose and more rose
If you are not averse to the smell of a rose, you could be very happy with L'Eau de Parfum 20. To my surprise, the fragrance lasts for over 12 hours on my skin, albeit quite close to the skin. The sillage, on the other hand, is rather restrained.
As the complexity of the fragrance is limited, I can't really get any further with a top, heart or base note. The perfume smells predominantly floral, oriental-spicy, woody-resinous, sweet and refreshing. I can smell hints of rose water, amber, forest honey, rosewood and benzoin. However, I cannot detect any whiskey aromas.
For me, L'Eau de Parfum 20 is a successful rose fragrance that I would categorize as unisex with a feminine tendency. I would like to thank Carsten for the bottling.
