A path to the wooden temple

I made my way to the wooden temple. Through a sacred grove made of fresh rosemary needles and a few sprigs of sweet cypress, I reached a temple of resinous cedar wood, filled with sweet smoke from incense sticks burning in front of statues of idols carved from smooth sandalwood. Someone even offered them a bowl of nuts.

Have you ever heard of "Portuguese Summer Cypress Scent"?

A fragrance that greets you not with "dark pine forests" but with "bright summer cypress." It has a slightly smoky quality and reminds one of a May day near a light forest amidst an herb meadow. Pastel-colored, slightly spicy powder, a lot of rosemary, and somehow "Mediterranean."
Despite the warmth of the sun, a pleasantly cool breeze always blows. The sky is slightly cloudy, the air very clear. The young shoots of the cypress shimmer in bright green, while the stately cedars appear in a mysterious gray-green, almost to be described as "silver-green." Large clumps of equally "silver-green-needled" rosemary compete in fragrance with them. All these delightful scents are enveloped by a fine note of incense.
There is no scent I know that is even remotely similar to the one described. I could immerse my nose in it over and over again, as it is so good and finely crafted that it embodies pure "summer cypress" joy.
And it reminds me of vacation stories from neighbors who come from Portugal and spend three weeks each year at the end of May/beginning of June visiting family there. They can vividly confirm that it looks similar to how I describe the beautiful "Krigler."
And it is REALLY beautifully warm at this time of year, but ALWAYS pleasant thanks to the slightly cool breeze from the Atlantic!! And there are "summer cypresses and cedars" too!

One of the best from the brand. The pine scent reminds me of Issara by Dusita, evoking a Mediterranean coastal forest, but this time it's lush and cool. Amazing!
