Dirt Orchid
LPDO imitates, there is no other way to put it, expensive fragrance blockbusters for the small purse. There is nothing reprehensible about this - but of course you should not expect any miracles, neither from the people behind the brand nor from the buyers...
"Fleur Noire" is their black orchid, but without giving the chic Tom F. any sleepless nights. A little wilder, a little more direct, a little cheaper, a little more scratchy - but still amazingly useful for the advertised ridiculous price and just as amazingly close to the (overpriced?) polarizing model. This black flower takes your breath away and supports your migraine. Jasmine kisses patchouli - with tongue and all pipapo. Humid and happy, full of sweat and ambition. There's little hiding or whispering, here's the action. No head movies, just naked facts. More like a brothel than pajamas, more like leather than lightness. Seizes space and leadership, direction and word. Even Black and Velvet Orchid can take on cheap, annoying features for me - here the bow gets a bit clumsy and clumsy. Just my two cents.
Flacon: rather nice than dupe
Sillage: lush, literally breathtaking
Shelf life: 9 hours can be a long time
Conclusion: greedy and horny, floral and bitchy, sensual and senile - "Fleur Noire" is a scent of a lifetime and does not come close to the depth and elegance of its role model. But when you think about the price, you just can't complain..
