Serpent chypre, dark fruitchouli

Like all LVNEA creations, this is dark, earthy, mossy chypre. Very powerful patchouli, only for true patchouli aficionados.

Yet it's fruity, the peach is the center of this scent, overly ripe and covered with soil.

As if you were carrying a basket full of peaches from your peach tree that grows on the outskirts of the woods, and you suddenly you drop it because you noticed a snake has crawled into the basket. The peaches are rolling down on the ground, covered in soil and grass...

Sultry Snake

Lvnea is known for the creation of some amazing witchy scents and this one is no exception. This fragrance is meant to smell like a serpent slithering through undergrowth in a forest. Lvnea really hit the mark with this. The fragrance opens with a sweet and spicy blast thanks to the ginger, honey, and peach notes. It then evolves into a very anamalic and earthy creature. The peach and ginger do remain, but only to slightly sweeten up the cold reptilian-like base. There is a black tea note listed in this which comes off as an almost old and fermented black tea. This teams up with heavy oakmoss and a hint of patchouli to create that challenging serpentine nature. If Slytherin house had an official fragrance, this would probably be it. La Serpentine leans slightly feminine, but is ultimately unisex. It is dark, unique, and far from mass appealing. Those searching for an easy wear that anyone can pull off will be sorely disappointed. It takes a certain personality and certain style that will really make this one ultra sexy.
