If Initio made Layton

Like many others, I can see the similarities between Symphonie and Layton. But it is stripped down a bit and made softer, muskier, more unisex. The "apple pie" accord is gone, and not really replaced with anything. The menthol-y vibe in Layton that people often compare to Vick's VapoRub is also toned down significantly. The bergamot and lavender opening is soft and quiet, kind of like in Rehab. The note that Symphonie is centered around is the cardamom, though, and that spice opens up pretty early on in the development. But it is not harsh and sharp, but the amber and vanilla smooth it out and make it creamy. I could easily see this as a white-bottle Initio fragrance, like if Initio made Layton. Maybe not the most original, but it is a great scent that I think folks who dislike the synthetic apple and menthol of Layton but enjoy the rest of the experience will really appreciate.

Symphonie by La Manufacture

The house La Manufacture is new for me and I was very enthusiastic retrieving the fragrance Symphonie from Sara from LXS Luxury Cosmetics from Belgium.
Sara convinced me to try the latest just released fragrance from the brand La Manufactura.
Knowing that she knows my taste in smells well, I agreed.

This fragrance is phenomenal, fantastic and amazing.
I can’t explain it with other words.
It’s like a Symphony orchestra is playing with the senses of your nose.
Smelling and sniffing this fragrance brought me into a wonderfully beautiful atmosphere.
The scent is sensual and sexy, wonderfully soft, sweet, fruity, sharp and strong. It is very Delicious and Divine
The strong fruity opening with the lavender, bergamot, cardamom, elemi resin and grapefruit is heavenly. I was gasping for air to get my second shot of the beautiful smell. The unbelievable beautiful blend of the accords white cedar, white amber, patchouli, vanille and tolu balm with a touch of frankincense is done in perfection.
I can’t explain it but I love this fragrance very much.
Maybe I was in the right and good mood when I sprayed and tested Symphonie but a day after smelling the fragrance again it gave me the same wonderful feeling. It made me happy.
On the day I was testing Symphonie some friends came by and smelling the fragrance made them also very enthusiastic. This is for real and absolutely not made up.
If you want to smell something good try Symphonie from La Manufacture.
