For me, unfortunately, pretty terrible

Before I get to my review, one thing up front: I bought this full 5 ml miniature at a collector's auction. Of course, it could be that the scent has tipped over time and no longer matches the original scent. It could also be that there is another mini in my obscure collection, or that another will be added. If so, I will definitely adjust my review if my impressions change. Why these words? Because I just do not like the fragrance and as a perfume lover I always have a bleeding heart with a lousy review :-(

I also noticed other very distinctive things. The sillage I feel already times significantly stronger than the broad opinion of the Parfumo community. The durability is even really blatant. On my skin smells / smells the part even after 16-18 hours.

The top note smells for me very synthetic-fruity-sweet after watermelon, black currants and apple rings with artificial flavor. This impression is even worse in the heart note. Besides cassis and melon, there is artificial peach ice tea and prunes here. And if all this is not enough, someone throws a bouquet of flowers consisting of garden carnations, violets, iris as well as lotus blossoms in my face. Soapy rose water now gives me the rest. No, this combination makes me think of escape or a wash of the fragrance. The base remains very synthetic, fruity as well as floral with some sandalwood and vanilla hints.

As I said, I can not guarantee here that everything remained "intact" with my miniature and will "observe" the fragrance in any case as well as adjust my review in case of changes then.

Childhood Memory

My mother has been going very natural for as long as I can remember. No makeup, no mascara or the like, no perfume. Only shower gel and the good Nivea cream, vllt still an odorless deodorant. It seemed almost revolutionary to my childish nose when a perfume entered our household. It was Laura. The bottle seemed very noble to me with its gold-coloured lid. And from then on, my mother smelled of this fragrance. Especially on special occasions, she would wear it and thus imprinted my childhood memory. Of course, at some point I went out to discover the world, and sometimes I felt homesick. When I eventually earned enough, I finally treated myself to a small bottle of Laura to bring home to "far away" and then felt a bit more at home, like being hugged by mom. The scent smells fruity fresh and a bit aquatic to me, it's very feminine and fits well in spring and summer. Durability is okay, the sillage is average, so it's not a big hit in terms of performance but I will definitely buy it again and again against my future homesickness. :-)

Port de Soller

My association with Laura is forever connected with the sea, Spain and joie de vivre, mild summer heat, due to a wonderful trip to Port de Soller. Mallorca has a bad reputation, but in the low season and off the beaten track... well, you know what I mean.
Anyway, once I was in late summer or early autumn, it was warm October on a beautiful afternoon in Soller, we took the little train to Port de Soller and drifted around, walked along the bay and found a cute little beach café where we stopped for a break. And there, in the anteroom of the toilet, there were hygienic products as well as a bottle of "Laura" to refresh the female guests. After my perfume was no longer perceptible and the mermaid treasure bottle with its nostalgic-romantic bulbous shape and the light blue glass stopper (that's how it looked) magically attracted me, I tested the fragrance on my forearm.
Back at the table I felt as if it was exactly what was missing, the light breeze absorbed the fruity components of melon and peach, after a while the soft sandalwood came out and a peaceful, also sensual and happy aura surrounded me.

Laura is nothing "big". Laura is an uncomplicated summer scent, it breathes more than it lingers, but it lasts longer than you realize. Jasmine and musk make it sticky, the melon or the peach note also has something "champagne-like" to me, I can't be more precise, like a sparkling glass of cool cava.

I don't perceive Amber, and I don't perceive the carnation.

Aquatic, fruity, light and fresh with a sensual base, this is Laura.
An ever-walker and a little fantasy trip included.
