Rose, change yourself!
That I would end up with roses ... If it were up to me, it would be raining them right now. I assume this is a form of spring feeling.
When I got my hands on "Rose d'Argent," I was very curious. Although this fragrance unfortunately loses momentum significantly towards the end of the all-day test, I can't help but give it a good rating due to its brilliant top and heart notes. Because in my opinion, they are truly an experience!
It starts off with pure and completely non-citrusy freshness. Although I despise everything related to licorice, ouzo, and anise cookies, I find the green form of anise - whatever green anise is supposed to be - very intriguing. (Google says it's a mushroom. That would be an explanation.) But whatever it is, it is definitely green. Alive. Pepper and geraniums only play a minor role in the background.
Soon the fragrance development shifts - a juicy bouquet of mint and rose, and I'm right in the middle of it! Delightfully refreshing, completely natural. and therefore my favorite phase. Such an experience was new for me. Ah!
I perceive the silver rose up to that point as wild and captivating. Not at all like one would imagine a flower standing there quietly and prettily. No, this lady was very active! Therefore, I even feared I would have to add this fragrance to my wish list, which would have been terrible since it is no longer available ...
Fortunately - I really have to say this - I do not like the base note at all. The delicious freshness tips over into an almost numbing heaviness that I can hardly endure. My scarf, which probably got a bit of perfume on it, had to be thrown into the washing machine immediately. I almost suspected the innocent patchouli this time. The spoiled side of the rose? I will keep an eye on it.
