Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum Lolita Lempicka 2021

Someone in the statements said that it smells like your freshly showered skin after being in the sun and I agree. Was this the glossier you of a previous era? It’s not that floral, but it has that overall vibe with a vintagey, slightly more powdery green twist with some very subtle darker aspects of sweetly herbal spice.

It’s quite impish for sure… you’re not really sure what you’re smelling (none of the notes stand out on their own, not even liquorice, everything is a unified blend), it sneaks up on you and it’s intimate silage - so that does give it a ‘your skin but better’ scent profile. I will say though that it’ll work better if powdery scents are part of your repertoire.

I don’t get fruity from this at all - I also have La petite robe noir and I got this thinking they’d be similar but they’re not. That one’s ‘perfumy’ and louder/sweeter.

This is my all time favourite perfume. I have to admit that I have not tried the original Lolita Lempicka it's based on so I can't comment on the similarity, but this one is perfect to me. It definitely reminds me of fairytales and it's a very complex fragrance. What stands out the most to me is the licorice, soft vanilla and powdery violet. The dry down is beautiful. Sometimes it reminds me of a forest after it has rained, with more of that earthy patchouli note. It also lasts quite long on me. The bottle is beautiful and I can't wait to buy one once I run out of my travel size. This is one of those rare perfumes for me where the scent is just as pretty as the bottle.

a very yummy spring gourmand, that’s almost-edible without being overly sweet(and could be worn for any season). this is almost exactly what i would imagine a sparkly garden fairy would smell like! my skin eats fragrances, but this lasts a surprisingly long time on clothing.
unfortunately for me, i’m very headache prone and this is too strong/long lasting! (likely a pro for most people)

I LOVE her!!! I’ve seen multiple perfumes calling this scent something that a fairy would wear, but in that case she’s a dark mischievous fairy luring people into the woods. On me this scent is pretty dark. I absolutely love the violet and liquorice, makes the perfume smell very purple to me if that makes sense. The white musk gives it this almost creaminess that I associate with conditioner for some reason. Maybe I’m out of my mind but I get faint cigarette smoke, in a good way so don’t let that scare you. I typically shy away from vanilla but this is chef's kiss to me.

All that aside though, the longevity is...well it's not great.

While I sadly have not smelled the original 1997 one, I do own a sample of the "Pacific Creation" formulation. Both smell heavenly to me, and this easily became a signature scent for me.

It is a lovely mix of licorice, sweet and spicy. It makes me want to sniff the air around me every so often. Addictive.

The new formula needs a reapplication after about 5-6 hours and is very intimate. I can smell it on my wrists. The pacific creations one lasts all day.
