Herbal Campfire

This fragrance is inspired by Twin Peaks: Fire walk with me, the prequel to the TV series by David Lynch. An incredibly dark movie that pushes the audience into the of the darkest parts of humanity and only barely giving a glimpse of hope at the end. This fragrance is light compared to the movie. This is the smell of a campfire that has just been lit. The wood a little too green and blond thus causing it to smoke just a little. The sap starts to heat up and someone gets the bright idea to throw some wild herbs and fir into the fire. The night fills with the aromatic scent and it blend with the sweet wood and smoke.

This fragrance is fairly aromatic, creating a close scent bubble. You will smell you are clean but have just got done burning herbs in a sauna. This fragrance lasted about 6 hours on my skin. There are two sizes available starting at 9ml for $35 and 50ml for $130.

Wood Fire, Tire Fire

This opens with a firey-smoke. Not a realistic one, but a fragrance note that you identify as pleasant fire and smoke. There is an edge to it that smells a lot like smoke flavouring that is used in cooking, but just an edge, it isn't the dominant note. Dry-down on skin, for me, however turns into an artificial and plastic note. It makes me think of some of the scenes conjured by fragrances that try to recreate garage and rubber scents, like some of the CdG compositions. But it does so more photo-realistically than CdG does. So it starts with a wood fire, and ends with a tire fire.

La Curie / Incendo

Very good perfume. A perfume that smells like a fire with burning logs, where the heat soars into the sky and smokes ... ... and smells like the smoke of burnt wood ash rising into the sky. The wood of pine, fir and the smell of their needles. A burnt-woody and hot-smoke, coniferous and incense competitor.
The projection is fairly large and the durability is very good. I highly recommend !

Lagoon of Campfire and Green Ember

Is it an illusion? Really nothing more than a chaotic vision? I lie safely in a bed, probably much earlier than now, the ethereal blanket breathes sage, the balm on my burning chest. The last groove of a dusty shellac record crackles soothingly, or is it the ember of smoldering pines in a fireplace in my mind? Firs dance in the darkness above, hissing bright resins into the flickering coals, making them glow greener as they sizzle and soon begin to paint pictures.
I believe I am at the bottom of a shallow sea of bubbling green globs, where fir rays and Schiller salves break light on surfaces, where lagoons of campfire lull beneath bright resinous streams, which, with the rustling of the forest, condense everything into impressionistic fields of mist.
There are black tar drops on pine coals next to green resins that burst into herbs and gently sink into banks of clouds made of brownish balsamic incense.

"Incendo" is one of the truly well-made smoky fragrances for me. While the first hours are still dominated by the interplay of warm, slightly tarry wood smoke and green ethereal notes, the scent becomes increasingly balsamic and intimate with the incense. The green ember glows for about six to seven hours.
