It's a half an hour walk to the Lush store
With many thanks to our dear @Lempi who suggested this perfume in the forum when I asked her about a scent that would smell like a Lush store :-).
When she did, I couldn't find it anywhere, not even on their website and Lempi told me it was indeed not always available.
But the day before yesterday (I had almost forgotten about it), I suddenly saw it on the Lush website and today I went to a Lush store, tried it on my skin, and - also since my boyfriend found it pleasant right away - I bought two bottles (because of the limited availability apparantly).
At first spray I didn't smell much (probably because of all the scents lingering in the shop), but when I came outside to make sure I liked it...well, well, well...the sillage was immense eventhough it was quite cold today!
I don't get that citrusy opening like some. It opened up very sweet, almost like Insolence Eau de Parfum, but with green notes added and so I would have sworn there would be violet in this (but it seems there isn't). For a brief moment I feared I would find it too sweet, but after some time it mellows out.
To me it is a little gourmand, I usually don't like gourmands, but maybe I like this one because it is not gourmand in an 'edible' way, more in a 'drinkable' way (I wouldn't drink it ofcourse :-)).
In my case, it takes about half an hour before I really find it smelling like entering the Lush store. I love that smell! The resemblance to a Lush store after drydown is really spot on!! It smells asif you just used all of their bathproducts and lotions.
Eventhough it acts like a perfume, sillage- and longevity wise, I wouldn't call this a perfume. It's a smell, a scent and I love to have these kind of fragrances in my collection. They can have a therapeutic effect on me or function as a 'rehab' when I'm bored with perfumes.
I'm very curious about how it will be in spring and summer!
I love that tiny little bottle, so cute!
