Fresh from the sea
I've been interested in the body sprays from Lush for a while and I really wanted to try Dirty because the notes appealed to me so much. However, I hadn't tested anything like this from Lush before.
So the other day I marched into the store full of anticipation and sprayed on the first two body sprays. Phew, there's a funny note to it.
Anyway, on to the dirty perfume. Pffft, take a sniff. Hmm, yes, strong fresh mint in the foreground. A hint of lavender also resonates. It's okay but all 3 fragrances didn't convince me (at first!).
A little disappointed but somehow also happy to have saved money, I headed home.
Half an hour later, the body sprays lost their dull, strange note from the start and developed into something really positive.
Then I took another close look at the Dirty. I couldn't believe it! Some people here write associations such as: freshly swept car repair shop, dentist, cleaning agent or herbal bath etc.. But on me, the scent suddenly smells as if I've just come in from the sea. The sun is beating down on my skin. The drops of sea water slowly dry off my skin. So I also get a pinch of sea salt on top, even though it's not listed. Wow! Yes, that's how I want to smell this summer!
The mint is no longer so present for me, but combines with the other notes in such a way that I can experience this feeling here. I really can't describe the fragrance any better. That's exactly what it is for me.
For me, it's definitely unisex and leans neither in a masculine nor feminine direction. Exactly in the middle in my opinion.
Conclusion for me again: wait and see and drink tea. And be happy afterwards.
