Quirky and fun
Minty, Fresh, Earthy. The spearmint is bright and real. It's not that fake gum and toothpaste mint but a bright, fresh, "I just bruised a mint leaf between my fingers" mint. The mix of oakmoss and sandalwood give it a nice earthy feel and there is a slightly herbal edge from the thyme and a sweetness from the tarragon. I really like it. It's different and fun.

Like all Gorilla perfumes the sillage is nuclear and it lasts forever.

The forgotten mint that lies bruised & trampled at the bottom of the garden.
The first blast of scent I get is like sweet, earthy, minty tea. The mint is really strong and somehow masculine. So strong that at first it is almost headache inducing. Slight herbalness underneath, but I cannot distinguish tarragon or lavender at all. Within 1 hour it distills down to earthy, musky sweetness reminiscent of pipe tobacco.

To me all of the Lush scents are really strong and long lasting, and have some element of earthiness to them

After two hours a nice spearmint.
Intensely fresh spearmint, Something synthetic at the beginning, It look a mint gum or toohpaste. It´s a perfume herbal, spicy, aromatic and clean with the Lush touch.
It´s energizing, to feel clean and fresh in spring.
it have a one hour of strong projection and after it go down to a nice sweet mint. 7 hours of longevity.

This is a LUSH, not a WIMP
Dirty reconciles me with Lush. After Karma and God of Breath, I was rather disappointed by All good things and Death & Decay.

Dirty is absolutely not a dirty scent; however, I don't see it in the clean bear category either. At the beginning, I am hit with rich, green mint, a lovely freshness that clears the mind and is exactly to my taste. The mint is the driving force here, gradually the kitchen herbs join in and give the mint a green-herbaceous aroma. The cool freshness gives way to a warmer one. Slowly, the mint relinquishes its control and allows the lavender to come forward as well. Now Dirty is also delicately floral, with the lavender being quite noticeable alongside the mint. Everything comes together harmoniously; Dirty is no longer as powerful as it was at the beginning, rather delicate, yet still well perceivable. Even 8 hours later, I can smell a hint of the fragrance on my wrist.

Here, Dirty is listed as a men's fragrance, but for me, it is clearly unisex, even leaning towards feminine in the heart note. Dirty is a spicy, slightly earthy, green scent, subtly sweetened, not necessarily a perfume, more like a kind of "medicinal scent" that allows for clear thinking and free breathing. And this is meant positively. For me, Dirty is a go-to in spring and summer, a fragrance that can be worn equally well in the office and when going out. It is also said to be aphrodisiac - hmm, I have quite different ideas about that. I give it my full recommendation; I would have preferred to order this instead of All good Things. Oh yes, those who like Assenzio will probably also enjoy Dirty.

Dirty Freshness!
The saleswomen at Lush must feel sorry for themselves. The whole store, with its countless open perfume soaps lying around, is a real ordeal, and you’re glad to be back outside. As if it weren’t hard enough to endure 8 working hours in this chaos, they now also have to sell perfume. As a customer, who is subjected to a full olfactory assault, it’s a struggle to perceive the offered perfumes. Presumably, most of them are excessively loud. You will hardly find anything subtle and elegant in this environment.

Two perfumes were presented to me as men’s fragrances: Breath of God and Dirty Fragrance. After a brief hesitation, I chose the lighter and more summer-appropriate Dirty Fragrance for my skin.

Dirty Fragrance initially delights us with a noticeable lavender note in the top. This beautiful herb had somewhat fallen out of fashion; so it’s all the more pleasing to encounter it occasionally outside of niche perfumery.

But Dirty Fragrance is rather inexpensive, something that the young audience of this chain is supposed to buy. Thus, they forgo fixing the lavender note, which would have required some craftsmanship from the perfumer. Instead, a spearmint accord increasingly pushes to the forefront. Who, pray tell, wants to smell like chewing gum voluntarily?

No, that’s not nice; it’s only pleasant at the very beginning, where mint and lavender engage in a dialogue. If you want, we have a blender in front of us here, tailored for the quick buyer in the Lush store.

Dirty Fragrance doesn’t get any better later on. After about 2 hours, the chewing gum mint fades away, making room for an accord of herbal and marine notes - fougère meets sea breeze! Surely, this is not inferior, I just don’t particularly like it. This combination actually smells quite dirty, to put it bluntly, like garbage! Who knows the typical smell that the large vehicles of the street cleaning leave behind? Well, it wasn’t directly imitated, but I can’t help but make that association.

It’s unbelievable to me that people voluntarily and joyfully shop at Lush. How overstimulated and dulled must one be to find that great? So it goes - as expected - with a perfume called “Dirty Fragrance,” it’s all about the quick attraction, the wow effect. Elegance and beauty? Not a chance!

Dirty? How rude! My unisex rustic cottage with lavender sachets and fresh mint tea is cozy, not dirty. The nerve!

Intense and fresh like the powdery coating on spearmint chewing gum. Slightly marine and herbaceous too.

Eventually dries down to a photorealistic spearmint, but before that, it smells like you sprayed yourself with toothpaste.
